'Place looks nice and very Tuscany style. It has beautiful pool, building and garden. We arrived around 10 PM and host helped us check in very quickly. However the stay is not ideal. Firstly our room has a strong toilet/water sink odor, making us feel headache, and we have to keep window open and wear mask all night long. Secondly there is no bath towels. We only found ropes in the closet instead. Thirdly the dog started barking around 5:30 AM just outside of our room, then we were shocked and...

"Great hotelbuilding, on a top location! BUT: food & drinks in the hotel are very overpriced (for exemple: 12 EUR for a Coca Cola - 32 EUR for a Spritz - 265 EUR for +/- 1,2 kg of BBQ-meat (that was also cold!) and so on… You also have to know that the pool-watertemperature is about 36 degrees … hot… For the rest: great experience!"

"Great location, beautiful old hotel such beautiful furniture. All the staff were excellent so helpful with directions and information. No lift but the staff carried bags to our room. The room was quiet air conditioned. The bed very comfortable. Bathroom well appointed. Breakfast included an excellent selection and catered for Gluten Free. Evening meal in their dining room had plenty to choose from at a very reasonable price. A good selection of wines by the glass or bottle. The waitress greeted us warmly and remembered our choice of wines from the night before. Can highly recommend this hotel."
