A wonderful combination of shaded woodland, but only 1 minute from the beach, Graceful House Monterosso is a rustic ground-floor retreat for 2. In the heart of Monterosso, in the Cinque Terre, this apartment is the perfect getaway for a couple who want to explore this stunning area or simply relax on one of the sandy beaches close by.

The entrance to the building is via a charming series of steps through shaded woodland. The front door opens into a hallway with the rooms leading off the central corridor. The open-plan living area includes a sofa, a pine dining table with 4 chairs and a kitchenette which is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine and a fridge.

Guests will enjoy relaxing in the private garden. Here, there is a café-style table and chairs for meals al fresco, as well as deck chairs for soaking up the sun and fresh sea air.

Location
The apartment is very well-located in the centre of Monterosso. Monterosso is the largest of the 5 towns in Cinque Terre. It has two sandy beaches where visitors can hire sun loungers and umbrellas for a day by the sea. More adventurous holidaymakers can hire a kayak and explore the coastline nearby.

The town is known for its annual Lemon Festival, which takes place on the 3rd Saturday of May. The town is beautifully decorated, and visitors can sample all kinds of lemon-based food and drinks.

Away from the beach, visitors will find some spectacular hiking along the Sentiero Azzuro, which connects all 5 towns of Cinque Terre. There is also a regular ferry service along the coast and a train service. Monterosso railway station is only a 3-minute walk from the apartment.

For self-catering, there is a weekly farmers\' market (Thursday morning) where you can find the best local produce. For daily shopping, there is a supermarket in the town. However, visitors will find many excellent restaurants and cafés close by to suit all budgets.

Pisa’s International Airport is 1 hour and 40 minutes, and Genova’s International Airport is a 1-hour, 45-minute drive from the apartment.
