I would like to share with you my special piece of paradise. This is a unique opportunity to experience Jamaica outside of the resorts in an entirely private home. Within 15 minutes drive from The Sangster (MBJ) International Airport, in Rose Hall, Montego Bay. Located on a quiet street that backs into the Rainforest. One block from the coastal A1 Main Road and 10 mins hike to a secluded beach.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
The Bungalow is a newly renovated two bedroom 1 bathroom hurricane resistant abode. Features, 2 queen beds, washer, refrigerator, water heater, bathroom, dining and living room furniture. You will have complete privacy as you will have the entire house and yard to yourself. There is no other guests to share with. The unique features of this house is that it's only a 10 minute hike to the beach and it backs into a tropical rainforest. One of the very few properties where you can hike to the beach. Since the Beach is secluded always go with company since there are no lifeguards nor security guards. The Bungalow is 10 minute walk to Sea Castles and about a 15 minute walk to the Rose Hall Hilton should you want to purchase a day or evening pass. The Sangster International Airport (MBJ) is about 15 minutes drive. The world famous Doctor's Cave Beach which is located on "The Hip Strip" is about 17 minutes away. The Shops at Rose Hall are under 10 minutes drive. The Bungalow is a block away from the A1 Main Road so transportation is not an issue. However, you are on a longer stay it is probably best to rent a car so you can see more and move around easily. Please remember that in Jamaica we drive on the left. WATER AND ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
Generally there is no widespread water pressure or electricity outages outages we are on the Rose Hall Development grid which is the same that supplies the Rose Hall Hilton resort. Another thing to note is that the Bungalow has a newly installed hot water heater so there is hotwater 24/7. There is also a 650 gallon reserve water tank so you should never run out of water.
INTERNET ACCESS AND MOBILE PHONE SERVICE
Free WiFi provided by Flow Internet. For local mobile service it is recommended that you take an unlocked phone so you can purchase a local SIM card and minutes.
KITCHEN
A full kitchen is provided with utensils, pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses, stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. SUPERMARKET It may be a good idea to stop at the supermarket en route from MBJ airport to The Bungalow. The supermarkets are at Whitter Village Shopping Center or Half Moon Shopping Village.
LIVING/DINING ROOM
A cozy living and dining room awaits you with a 5 piece pub style dining room set and a 3 piece living room set awaits you. The living room is tastefully decorated and comes equipped with a newly installed air conditioner. Again this is all private. Nothing is shared.
BEDROOMS
Each bedroom features a new queen sized bed and comes complete with fresh linen with night table and a standard sized closet with shelves and hangers. Each room is equipped with a newly installed Air Conditioner so you never have a hot day or hot nights.
BATHROOM
The bathroom is newly renovated with a new bathtub, tiles and sink. It is sparkling clean and fresh towels, soap and toilet paper are provided.
LAUNDRY
A washing machine is provided. Line dry outside. Your host, Lel can do your laundry for a small fee.
PARKING
Parking is included for free in the gated driveway.
PATIO
A small patio is available at the front of the house. Perfect spot to feel the sunshine and the sea breeze.
LAWN & GARDEN
The lawn is an ideal spot to spread a blanket and soak up the sun .or to practice yoga. The yard has many fruit trees such as, Ackee (National Fruit), Banana, Plantain, Mango, Lime and Orange. There are also lots of birds as the yard backs into the rainforest.
SMOKING
Absolutely no smoking is permitted indoors but you may smoke outside.
SECURITY
The Bungalow is located in Rose Hall a secure part of town and is less than a quarter mile to the Barrett Town Police Station. The Bungalow is also fully secured with window guards and protective gates. Other safety features include smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in each room and a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. Neighborhood overview
The Bungalow is located within 15 mins from the Sangster International (MBJ) airport and local attractions. It is within walking distance to the Rose Hall Hilton. Walking distance to the Success Craft Market and located at the foot of Barrett Town, a community on the hill. The unique feature of the Bungalow is that it is within about 10 minutes hike to the beach. One of the very few properties where you have the entire house and you can hike to the beach. Hike I say because to get there you will have to cross the A1 Main Road and then from the left of the Sea Castle navigate some shrubs to pick up the abandoned Main Road that takes you to the beach. This beach adjoins the Sea Castle Beach. Since it is secluded always go with company. There are no lifeguards or security guards. Alternately you can go to the world famous Doctor's Cave Beach or Aqua Sol which are about 20 mins away by cab. Other options too would be to purchase a day or evening pass to a local resort. The Rose Hall Hilton is under a half mile walk away and Iberostar Rose Hall is about two miles away. Should you want to purchase a day or evening pass? Negril is about 1hr and 45 minutes drive and Ocho Rios about 2 hours away.
GETTING AROUND
The Bungalow is located one block (less than 5 mins walk) from the A1 Main Road so it is very easy to get a very cheap Route Taxi which range from USD $2 to USD $3 per person per ride. Take only the Taxis with the RED plates as these are licensed taxis. If you are staying for a longer period and are comfortable with driving on the left as they do in England you may consider renting a car or you can contract your Airport Taxi to take you around for a fee. Local poolside Bar, Rose's Bar is within 5 mins walk at the Sea Castles Condominium. It is open from 2PM to 11PM from Tuesday to Sunday (Closed on Mondays). On Friday evenings they serve Jerk Chicken and other Jamaican fare. The Secluded Beach is easily accessible from there however the security is likely to only let you in if you mention that you are going to Rose's Bar. Note their pool is off limit to outsiders. Beachs The Secluded Beach which adjoins Sea Castle Beach is 10 mins walk away. Jem will show you how to get there. It has no Lifeguards or Security Guards. Alternately Doctor's Cave Beach is about a 15 mins taxi ride away. It has full-time Lifeguards and Security Guards on duty. Entrance fee is approximately USD $5 per person. The "Hip Strip" is in the Doctor's Cave Beach area. Major supermarkets at Whitter Village, The Shops at Half Moon are about 10 and 5 mins drive away respectively. Alternately, there are local grocery stores on the hill in the community of Barrett Town which is about a 10 min walk away.
