The house has a beautiful, authentic interior, which is neatly arranged with a renovated kitchen and bathroom. The house is situated in the heart of La Manche's top attractions. Visit the picturesque village of Villedieu-les-Poêles (8km) with its copperware and bell foundry. Within half an hour's drive is the famous Mont St Michel (45km) and the town of Saint-Lô (34km) with its famous racehorse stud. The coast between Granville and the seaside resort of Agon-Coutainville (35km) has beautiful sandy beaches, the nearest being at St Martin-de-Bréhal (25km). Treat the kids to a day at the amusement park in Bréville-sur-Mer (25km). Near Villedieu is the Champrépus zoo with a large playground. The pretty harbour and beach at Granville (30km) are well worth a visit. Just north of Montaigu are the majestic remains of Hambye Abbey (4km), a typical example of Norman architecture.

The coast between Granville and the seaside resort of Agon-Coutainville (35km) has beautiful sandy beaches, the nearest being at St Martin-de-Bréhal (25km, also golf course). You can hire a sailboat or surfboard.
