'We had a lovely stay at this sweet little house! No more than 15 mins to Hunter, but secluded enough for privacy for a true getaway. Well-appointed, clean, and ownership was so helpful and communicative... the first night, we had a wind storm that briefly caused us to lose power, and Diana was prepped to help us relocate in the event that the power wasn't restored. 'Did not like checking in as there was no one anywhere around. I walked around to look for someone & eventually called out & someone appears. It was a bit unsettling traveling by myself to come to an empty, less than welcoming hotel. Minor detail, but like I said it was desolate. I was uncomfortable with the location as well as the hotel is next to a car lot. No restaurants near by or any amenities…had to find my way into Kingston at night to get a cup of coffee.
