'We stayed in this hotel for four nights. The location is simply unbeatable! The hotel is situated on the 'Cuesta de Gomérez, 14', which is the road to walk up to the Alhambra. So if you stay in this hotel don’t take the Bus but walk uphill. It is a very easy walk. The furniture of the hotel is a bit worn out, but we didn’t mind. I always read the best reviews and worst reviews of a place before booking, and I can honestly say that any criticism of MontesClaros is unwarranted. Everything was so comfortable and I slept like a dream while there. Antonio was a perfect, gracious host. Unless you have mobility issues, I would not hesitate to book a room here.
