Welcome to the Leinkauf Beauty. This house is a 3.5 bedroom 2.5 bathroom that sleeps up to 13 people with a trundle bed that is perfect for kids! One Mile to downtown Mobile, 45 mins to Gulf Shores or Dauphin Island. This beautifully restored home is just the place for your next vacation. Enjoy some southern porch sitting with inside and outside swings. With brand new wooden countertops, historic living meets the modern upgrade. Working from home or just seeing the sights, this home enables all your Mobile adventures.

The space...
As you walk from the driveway to the rear gate, you will open and make your way to the first rear door, which is the main entrance. The Rear Entrance/ Main Entrance has a digital lock, punch in the 4 digit code, then press the key lock icon button, and then the door will open.

Entering the home, you'll see the front door and stairs leading you upstairs to the bedrooms. Enjoy a beautiful dinner in the dining room, or relax in the well-appointed living room equipped with smart TV and seating for your entire party!

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home.
Other things to note
We require a signed rental agreement and for guests to be 25 years of age to book.

If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.

We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a $50 per pet non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

A horrific experience

This was a horrible experience. Upon arrival no access to the house . My daughter called get help he had a time getting information. This was already difficult occasion the death of my sister. The house was not as clean or kind as we are accustomed however we endured. We arrive late and left early. The master bed was uncomfortable a dip in middle. The pillows were inadequate. The stove was not clean. The water faucet in kitchen sprayed water on side when used. The showe in master was not clean and inadequate. I was told there were 4 bedrooms there were only 3 my son who is 6; 3 had to sleep on sofa. No bedroom for him. This was durable. Knowing it was temporary. However when the owner call me on the way home . A 12 hour drive complaining of a mat torn of which we knew nothing about. I three wayed him with my daughter concerning our stay. She told him of our complaints. But we endured. He said at that moment disregard the mat. We had no intention of writing a negative review it not our character. Knowing this is his business. We thought that was it.Later that night I woke in night after a 13 hour trip. About 11 pm I look at my phone Spencer is treating to sue for the mat and a blue blanket which was never in the house as we knew. Tired I left him a voice message . I will call you first thing in morning. He threatened again. At this point we contacted the company.A most incredulous experience . A horrific distasteful experience.Toda Raba

The house was incredibly lovely. It is a historically listed home. The house is large enough to accommodate our family of 13. We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely neighborhood. We really enjoyed being able to relax on the porches. Would definitely recommend.

Mardi Gras Week 2024

The house is a charming older home that the owner has put some sweat equity into fixing up. It's on the outskirts of the Oakleigh district which is a charming area of Mobile. We did have some snaffoos with our visit however. We did't receive a check-in email. At 6pm on checkin day, I contacted VRBO and got the owners phone number to get the check-in code. During that call, I discovered the house was double booked, two reservations made on different platforms. Fortunately, my family and I were able to stay in this house. The owner was very sorry about the confusion and worked hard and fast to make accomodations for the other family. The house itself is not exactly as described in the write up. There are only 3 bedrooms, NOT 4. One king, one with 2 queen beds, and one with 2 full beds. There is also a single bed in the hall at the top of the stairs, but there is no privacy to that area and it's definately not a bedroom. For bathrooms, there are two bathrooms inside. Note - the second bathroom does not have a shower, only a claw foot tub for taking a bath, not shower. That was tough for my family because we are all showerers. The third bathroom probably shouldn't be included in the count - it is a toilet on the back porch (not inside the house) in a broom closet space with no sink. If you dare to use the outside toilet, you can't shut the door for privacy because the toilet is very close to the door when shut. Also, there is safety issue with one of the back doors.
