'The room was clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
However, I wish there had been a few more amenities, especially a refrigerator and a hairdryer.
Also, I contacted the resort by email before my arrival, but I did not receive a reply until the last minute, which was quite stressful. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.'

'Great stay at Crazy bear. The hostel is on the basic side, but the room is clean, the staff are amazing and helpful. The hostel also facilitates activities, so that makes it easy. I did not get the chance to eat / drink in the bar because Moalboal has so many options. Highly recommended. Their theme of bears is very creative, and is all over the hostel.'

'A piece of paradise 10 mins walk from MoalBoal. Our room was great - had a family room. Beds were comfortable, aircon great, had a fridge, and it was quiet. The pool was beautiful. Breakfast was great. The snorkelling right off the beach was some of the best we experienced in the whole of the Philippines. The sardines are about 20 m off shore further down the coast (close to town). We snorkelled there, but if you are not a good swimmer or have little kids, go to town then swim off shore.

8.8 van 10, Voortreffelijk, (20 beoordelingen)
'The property itself was lovely, but our stay was overshadowed by a serious breach of privacy and guest security.
I had planned this trip as a surprise for my wife's birthday, booking a month in advance to make the occasion special.
Unfortunately, just one to two hours after checking in, while my wife and I were already asleep, a staff member used a master key to unlock and open our room without our permission or prior warning.
We later learned that another guest had requested a room transfer,...

Divers Lodge PlumeriaBasdiot
8.8 van 10, Voortreffelijk, (32 beoordelingen)
'This accommodation is located around 15-20 min walk from the "hart" of Moalboal including the closest beach. It is an easy walk, or if more preferred, a motorbike or a tuk-tuk ride. The place was kept clean and tidy and the communication with the staff was very easy. They were very helpful with all the questions I had and one of the receptionists has greatly helped me on my last morning when I was heavily mistreated by some of the scam "taxi services". The place hires local people as their staff...

'The staff was great and helpful. The amenities were sufficient. The pool was clean. The breakfast was average. The restaurant for dinner is good. Like the parrots being raised there. Walking distance to most attractions and activities. Overall, a great stay. But the private car transport from the Mactan airport which was booked through the resort was terrible. The driver arrived 1 hour and 10 min after I got out of the airport exit with an on-time flight arrival. The worst thing was not only...
