Wonderful house, host & location
This nice apartment is situated in a beautiful historic little village. A central location to make several day trips. Gabriella is a very friendly, relaxed and helpful host. Everything you need is available. The view from the terrace is fantastic, overlooking the lake that is great for a swim. We spend 10 days here and enjoyed our stay very much.

Fabulous views from light and airy apartment located in mediaeval village
My husband and I spent 3 months over summer at Gabriella and Michel’s apartment in Miramas le Vieux, a mediaeval village located at the northern tip of the large Étang de Berre in the south of France. The apartment is light and airy and true to the photos, with an independent and secure entrance via a huge, private terrace. Gabriella and Michel are wonderful hosts. They respond to requests very quickly but are respectful of privacy. The apartment is well supplied for a short or long stay and has the bonus of a private parking spot next to the apartment within the village. Both the apartment and the terrace have amazing views over the Étang de Berre and the countryside, while the terrace is the perfect spot for daytime and evening meals, entertaining or just relaxing. We had a lovely time; thank you Gabriella and Michel!

Beautiful spot to relax
The positive reviews are all correct here, we absolutely loved our stay. Nice location for day trips, easy drive to the beaches of the Mediterranean, or to Arles. But most of all we enjoyed relaxing and reading with the breeze of the étang flowing through the windows. The terrace is amazing and we enjoyed having drinks and playing cards while soaking in the view.

We spent a quiet time around New Year in the apartment and enjoyed it very much. It is well equipped and comfortable. The ancient village on the mountain is very serene, and the view of the Berre l'Etang is marvellous. Very kind hosts!

Äußerst herzlicher, persönlicher Empfang mit Erklärung zum Objekt. Unterkunft mit grandioser Aussicht auf dem Etang & mit liebevollen Details, wie auch großzügiger Ausstattung. Es ist alles vorhanden. Das sehr kleine Dorf bietet 3 Restaurants und 2 Eisdielen, jedoch keinen Lebensmittel-Laden. Man deckt sich lieber vorher in Miramas ein. Danke für den tollen Tip für an den Strand. Sehr schöne Umgebung. Vielen Dank an Gabriella für die tollen Tage.

Vacances très agréables
Nous avons pris cette location pour profiter en 1er lieu de la terrasse car nous connaissions très bien la région. On a pu recevoir nos amis sur la grande terrasse abritée toujours ventée avec des rideaux si besoin en fin d'après midi. Les propriétaires qui sont sur place sont charmants et discrets. Le gros plus : le parking à proximité de la location. Manque plus que le jaccuzi ! Nous reviendrons sans hésitation en famille pour revoir nos amis.

Lovely views, special town
I didn’t know much about Miramas-Le Vieux, so I was confused about directions to the apartment at first. But once we got there, the place was great. Gabriella met us at the entrance to the village and brought us to the apartment on a steep hill of cobblestones overlooking a huge lagoon. It was great to have our own parking spot. The apartment was clean and everything we needed was provided. Just note, the big terrace is shared with the main house, and the owners do have cats. They’re not allowed in the apartment, but if you have more sensitive allergies, they could affect you. Very helpful hosts and a special place to stay!

Fantastic view of lake and countryside
What first strikes you on arrival is that the view from the huge veranda is better than the pictures. Our hosts Gabriella and Michel were very helpful and friendly. The apartment is very spacious, open plan kitchen, lounge, diner, separate bedroom and bathroom with a very good shower, great for the two of us and our dog. The property is in the middle of Mirmas le Vieux ideal for local restaurants and bars, also perfectly placed to explore the area around the lake 'Etang de Berre'. We particularly liked Salon de Provence, there are lots of pretty small towns with historic interest and plenty of restaurants just remember lunch is noon to 2.30pm and dinner 7.00pm to 9.30pm in a lot of places.

Beautiful property, gorgeous village and friendly owner
What a delightful apartment! We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it. It was spotlessly clean and the outside terrace is just beautiful - with stunning views of the lake and countryside below. Miramas le Vieux is a lovely village with some fabulous restaurants, local walks and perfectly located for the sights of the area, including Arles, San Remy de Provence, the Camargue and the Alpilles. We definitely hope to return. Many thanks to Gabrielle and Michel for their hospitality.

We had 4 wonderfull, relaxing days in Gabriella's Apartement in this charming village . From Miramas Le Vieu you can do superb day trips to the lavander fields of Sault, to the lovely town of Arles, or to the nice meditaranian habor of Niolon. We enjoyed it a lot!

Location du 29/07 au 02/08/18 . Les propriétaires sont vraiment très gentils ,ils nous on donné une bonne adresse pour manger dans le village (les sens de la toupine) excellent il faut l'essayer si vous aimez le semi-gastro et qu'avec des produits frais et locaux. L'appartement est assez spacieux et très bien équipé . Un vrai plus, le lit était fait à notre arrivé et que dire de la terrasse avec sa vue sur l'étang..... Ein sehr schönes Appartement in ruhiger netter Umgebung der Provence, welches von sehr netten Besitzern geführt wird. Wir haben die 2 Wochen genossen. Von Miramas kann man viel erkunden und nach einem langen Ausflugtag ist ein Abend mit Blick auf den größten See Frankreichs unvergessen. Wir kommen wieder. Vielen Dank für alles. Charmant gite trés bien situé!

Triste de n'avoir pas su qu'il y avait autant d'escaliers. Ce qui nous a posé problème avec notre chient qui est fragile du dos. Sinon, tout OK.

Siamo stati in questo appartamento dal 5 al 12 agosto del 2017, posto incantevole e proprietari gentilissimi la casa è comodissima e ben arredata non manca nulla, il paesino è molto carino e merita una visita anche se si è solo di passaggio.

Bel appartement au milieu d'un village remarquable.
L'appartement de Gabriella offre une belle vue sur l'étang de Berre et sur les toits du vieux village. Spacieux et fonctionnel, aux murs blancs ornés par les tableaux de Doris (amie de la propriétaire), il bénéficie d'un plus très apprécié : la terrasse abritée et le parking réservé. Le village, très prisé pour ses glaces rafraîchissantes, mérite une visite des vieilles ruelles médiévales. A recommander !! Christiane et Robert
