The day we were traveling we had issues with this host. One hour before we left they informed us there was a water leak at this property so they provided us a different property to stay at. This resolution was great but to let us know the day of was very inconvenient. This set the stage for the next challenge we had, which was getting in to the property. The gate code we were given did not work and we contacted the emergency line for assistance. The code we were given from this representative did not work and someone who was staying on the property was able to get us in. We were assured this was the code for the property and we should be able to get in the next time and to call back with any other issues. We did leave to get groceries with anxiety and came back to the confirmed fears, the gate code was not working. I called to receive assistance again and informed the representative that we were locked outside of the gate again (This was around 10pm). They assured us the code was correct and we used 2 different ones but none of them worked. They could not provide us a resolution because they don’t control the gate (it is the HOA that does). This was very concerning because there was no way for us to get in without assistance. We ultimately followed another tenant into the property when they pulled up. Not a good start to our vacation and we felt this was not treated with urgency by this company. It was a nice home and we did enjoy ourselves but I would not rent again.
