Aunt Matea's House for 7 people

Aunt Matea's house is a rustic house made of stone and wood, with all the comforts. The house has two floors, a patio with barbecue, garage, and a great terrace from which you can contemplate an impressive starry sky. It is ideal for country trips in which you are looking for a quiet and cozy atmosphere. Also for small family groups it gives an excellent service for longer stays during the holidays, in a town where children can play freely as we did before….

On the upper floor there are two large rooms, the main one, very spacious, with a bed of 1.50, a small dressing room. The other room has two beds, one of 1.35 and another of 90. This room is attic, and very bright.

Additionally, there is a full bathroom (with bathtub) on this floor.

The floor of all rooms is solid wood, the stone walls .... All this is combined in a very cozy atmosphere.

On the ground floor there is a spacious living room, with a fireplace, two armchairs and a dining table. The living room with TV, and is very bright. Through a wide wooden doors it opens onto the patio of the house, which has a barbecue. Attached to the living room there is another bathroom with shower and kitchen.

The kitchen has a hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine, and dishwasher. Likewise, if you like traditional cuisine, it also has a "Bilbao" kitchen, made of wood where you can, if you want, cook in the old way, slowly, to the love of fire.

Of course, the house has a powerful heating, and all the firewood you need for the fireplace and barbecue.

If necessary, the house has an annex with a guest room with its own bathroom, independent of the main building. This guest room is very spacious, located above the garage, which is accessed through a huge terrace. This room has a bed of 1.50 and a bathroom in the same room. The roof is made of thick beams of solid pine wood, and through the terrace there are beautiful views of the churches on one side and on the other of an ancient Romanesque hermitage located on top of a hill overlooking the town. On moonless nights, the starry sky is impressive.

If you do not want to bother with meals, we recommend Marciano's piglet, which breeds it and roasts in its clay oven with firewood. It's delicious. Of course, you can always use the house barbecue. We give you all the firewood you need. There is also a bar with very good skewers, in the San Isidro cultural center, and serves meals at home, with an excellent value for money.
