'Beautifully laid out, beach right out every front door, very clean, staff was helpful and friendly, great food and a quiet but still family atmosphere. You can tell the owners give a lot of attention to the details. Pool was so clean and beautiful. Also the landscaping was stunning and gave it an upscale resort feel while still having an intimate feel. They set up an excursion and airport ride and made the whole process easy. Would HIGHLY recommend this place and would stay here again!'

'We stayed 4 nights. We did not have any toiletries in our room until the last night we were there. Our room felt like it was actually cleaned. The resort has potential to be a really great resort. Management of it really lacks. We had one outside light out of a possible 3. Lights burnt out inside the room. It could use proper management.'

'Real personal vibe, because it’s a cozy little resort. Beautiful beach and sea does Kiwengwa have! And the dinners are a very good 4 course meal of your choosing between 2 options for each course. Also we think that the central location is perfect. Everything north and south of the island is reacheable in under 1 hour by car.'

'Mooi en rustig hotel direct aan het strand. Mooie, schone kamers welke dagelijks (er goed) schoongemaakt wordt. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Restaurant is goed maar niet echt vegan friendly ookal wordt dat wel aangegeven op de kaart. Prijzen komen niet overeen met wat staat vermeld op hun menukaart.'

'Hotel is van Italianen, zijn ook gericht op Italianen, alles in het Italiaans, elke dag pasta, daarnaast de all inclusive, wil je echte koffie dan moet je er €3 voor betalen. Aan het strand staan beachboy's bieden trips aan ( helft van de prijs van hotel) naast hotel een massage van een dame die op het strand werkt, super massage. Het is er heel veilig, kan rustig strandwandeling maken. Wel een prima service.'

'We hebben een geweldige ervaring gehad! Manager Jamil heeft er werkelijk alles aan gedaan om met ons mee te denken en het ons naar de zin te maken. Hij heeft ons geholpen bij het organiseren van een safari-activiteit en zelfs gezorgd voor een verjaardagstaart voor de verjaardag van mijn vrouw. Zijn vriendelijkheid en persoonlijke aandacht maakten ons verblijf extra speciaal. Zeker een aanrader!'

'Our stay at Diamonds Mapenzi Beach had several positive aspects. The location is good, the pool area is nice, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. That said, there are a few points worth being aware of. The rooms appear more worn in reality than the pictures suggest, which detracts from the overall impression. In addition, the food unfortunately falls below expectations. Considering the price, the culinary experience could have been significantly better. This...

'My wife and I found a little bit of paradise at Royal Mandarin Resort! Very very nice property. We booked this room for five nights following our Serengeti Safari in the hope of some beach relaxation. We got that and so much more!'

'The resort is Ok and the staff is nice, rooms are good and clean. Main disadvantage are the big distances o be covered between room and beach and between room and restaurant. Just too long. The hotel is too big for me... Furthermore not really flexible. "No, it is not possible" seems to be the default answer to customer questions.'

'We had a wonderful 10 days stay at this hotel. The service is very good and the waiters and waitresses very kind and service orientated. The environment is beautiful. Everywhere beautiful flowers. The gardiers arrange that the environment looks very nice every day. The accommodation is good. Well worth visiting.'
