We arrived at about 8:50 pm. I was told by the receptionist that they had sold out of the 2 Queen rooms (that I had conformation from Expedia for). She said because I booked through a 3rd party (Expedia) there is no guarantee. I told her I'm 64 years old and this has NEVER happened with a booking from a third party. If it's a confirmed booking from Expedia, as far as I'm concerned, it's a GUARANTEED booking. We had to settle for a studio with queen bed and sofa bed which we had to make ourselves and was terribly uncomfortable! To top it off she first told me the money Expedia collected was insufficient and wanted to collect about $12+ more for the room. But later decided she would waive it. I'm furious I cannot trust a non-refundable Expedia reservation! If that's really true I wouldn't want to use it any more! I definitely will not stay in this Fairfield Inn anymore in the future.
