Wake to birdsong and fresh air before wandering along nearby trails. Holt Country Park (1 mile) winds through woodland and open heath, while the town of Holt (2 miles) delights with Georgian charm, independent shops, art galleries and tempting cafes. Venture a little further, and the dramatic landscapes of the North Norfolk Coast (6 miles) reveal sandy beaches, salt marshes and expansive skies, while the tranquil waterways of the Norfolk Broads (20 miles) beckon for leisurely boat trips or riverside walks.


Inspired by traditional shepherds’ huts, this snug retreat combines rustic character with thoughtful touches for comfort. Sunlight streams through the windows, while insulated walls keep the interior warm when temperatures drop. Inside, a double bed, compact kitchenette, wood burner, and bar-style seating create a welcoming retreat, alongside an en-suite shower and soft ambient lighting. Logs, fire starters and matches are supplied for the wood burner, and a bag of charcoal is provided for the BBQ, making evenings by the fire a cosy delight.


Outside, deck chairs, hammocks and a fire pit frame the lakeside setting, offering a peaceful spot to watch the water. On-site parking for one vehicle is included so you can come and go with ease. This is a true off-grid hideaway, with no electricity for devices, limited mobile signal, and no Wi-Fi – an invitation to fully disconnect and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Norfolk countryside.
