« We stayed for an extended weekend during my son’s recent graduation. The property was perfect- lots of space, peaceful mornings, birds and waterfowl. It wasn’t a short drive to Gainesville commencement activities but it was a very easy drive so that was not a problem. We rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed time on the lake. « Our family had an amazing time during our stay. Denny and Angieis an excellent host with an absolutely beautiful retreat. Anything you think you may need is more then likely already there. We enjoyed the majority of our time outside on the dock or on the back porch. Even when it rained we got treated to the most stunning double rainbon.I couldn't have ask for a more perfect anniversary weekend with my family. »

« loved the covered wagon and interactions with all the animals. Unfortunately, we woke up (at 3 a.m.) to a temperature of 51 degrees. Did turn on the heaters in covered wagon however by 6:30 when we notified Elaine the temperature had not gone up. Could not make coffee because had the heaters on. »

« The property was clean but not accurate as described online. It was listed as the whole property which is 3/2 but on reservation listed as 1/1. So when arriving, it was a concern whether someone else was in the property. I guess they only wanted the master bedroom and bath used and closed the rest of the doors to bedrooms and baths so we did not enter or use those. The location in general suited where we needed to be close to but in order to get to the property there was a very flimsy bridge...
