Charming Cabin with Great Amenities and Atmosphere

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little cabin! It was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to linens and bedding. The neighborhood was peaceful and welcoming, and we especially loved relaxing in the hot tub, sitting around the fire pit, and watching wildlife pass through the yard.Check-in and check-out were super easy, and the whole process was smooth. The carpet did have some wear and a few stains, which is pretty typical for a well-loved rental, but it didn’t affect our overall experience at all.We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect mountain cabin getaway

Very clean, inside and outside of the property. Well stocked. Loved the layout of the cabin. The upper bunk room was a hit with all of the grandkids. It was the perfect place for an enjoyable family getaway in the mountains. The check in and check out process was easy. The management team was professional, warm and proactive in welcoming us to the property. The cabin is located nearby the Payette river, great place to hike, canoe, paddleboard and fishing. Lots of trees surround the grounds that feature a well maintained lawn of green mowed grass. Back porch has chairs, tables, hot tub. Very relaxing! Saw lots of deer feeding nearby. Super experience. We would definitely return to the cabin. Highly recommend it.

Stay at Mountain Joy

Very nice cabin and great space outside, we enjoyed the deer walking through the yard, the hot tub was a great bonus. Use of the cabin gave our family a great vacation all together.

Great experience

Stayed at Mountain Joy over the 4th of July weekend. Was fun to be outside of the crowds of McCall but close enough that we could go downtown for fireworks. Beautiful cabin with very comfortable beds. Kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed playing a few rounds of corn hole. Neighborhood is quiet. Really close to the river trail, which is a very pleasant place to walk. The rental was very clean and well maintained. I would absolutely stay there again!

Cabin in the woods

Phenomenal stay. Wild life roaming in the distance every morning as I ate breakfast on the porch. 5 min walk to the river with some great days of fly fishing, wood burning stove for the cool nights and hot tub in the evening. It was simply perfect. Only a few miles from town and mountainous scooped of ice cream and some great restaurants. I’ll definitely be back.

Quiet well appointed retreat

great location away from the hubbub of town but close enough to grocery shop or eat out. House had everything we needed and then some. Fishing in the Payette river a short walk and sportsmans access fishing pond a 2 mile drive away. Fire pit and hot tub were hits with all. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing relaxing property

We were so impressed with all of the attention to detail for the convenience and enjoyment of our stay at this home. With a little something for everybody, you could spend your entire time at this home and enjoy every minute of it. Toys for younger kids; books, games, and movies for all ages and interests; woods to explore; fully stocked kitchen (they even had a coffee grinder and a few pantry staples); most enjoyable hot tub; and a relaxing fireplace - all of this would definitely cause us to want to come back!

Secluded mountain treasure

This property/cabin was just what this family needed! Beautiful inside and out with tons of pine all around us! It was amazing watching a family of deer peeking in and around the backyard throughout our stay. Access to household appliances made it possible to make some of our family favorite dishes, just minutes from town but yet felt further out with privacy. Easy walk to the Payette River, honestly one of the best out of town stays we’ve ever had! Can’t wait to book again!

A true Joy in the Mountains

We absolutely loved our weekend stay here. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by trees. We saw lots of local wildlife, deer and little chipmunks, and it is also only a short drive from town. It was a great spot to stay in the summer and it looks like it will be really cozy in the winter time, we'll definitely be back!!

Ski trip!

We had a great time on our yearly ski trip staying at this property. Plenty of room for all of the friends, remote, and some great hot tub time to relax and recover. Definitely bookmarked for future trips.

Perfect Snow-Cation with our Grandkids!

We surprised our 3 grandchildren and brought them to the Mountain Joy cabin. They were thrilled with the bedroom with all the beds in one room! Lots of games to play and lots of snow! They took their tubes and went down the small hill in the backyard and had fun doing that. We really enjoyed the fireplace and the hosts had everything we needed in the kitchen. They stocked enough firewood for our 3 night stay and everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. If you want to do tubing at the activity barn be sure to purchase well in advance. They were booked solid for the time during our stay but they were nice enough to give us a reservation for 3 on our last day there. Lots of fun tubing down the big hill! We would definitely stay here again! It was the perfect snow-cation location!

Mountain Joy

We enjoyed our Christmas stay at Mountain Joy. The kitchen was well stocked, the premises very clean, the bedding comfortable and the cabin cozy. The property management group Done Right Management was easy to deal with and available to address any questions that might arise even on a holiday. We highly recommend Done Right Property Management and Mountain Joy cabin!

What a great stay!

We had a great time! Cabin was clean and kitchen was well equipped which was so nice! The grandkids loved playing in the backyard area in the snow. Would definitely recommend:)

Perfect for Us

The property was in a great location, close enough to town for convenience, but secluded. The cabin was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped which was great because we ate in. We enjoyed our stay. I do wish there had been closets in all bedrooms. That was the one thing that was a little bit of an issue, since we were all adults. Overall it was great!

Family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Joy house. The house was equipped with everything we needed to accommodate a family of 10. We loved the peaceful setting. We could sit outside and watch a family of deer walk across the backyard. It is a quick drive to downtown McCall. Will definitely stay at this house again.

Loved the Quiet

We enjoyed the cabin. It was spacious enough for our group of 4 adults and 5 children. The kitchen table fit all of us. The backyard was big enough for us to play in and the fire ring (not used this time) seemed to draw us around. The hot tub provided one full evening of play.

A Great Place for Families

The property was very clean and the beds were comfortable. You could tell that much thought had gone into making this cabin family friendly. There were two highchairs, a pack and play, games, toys and even a toilet training seat on the upstairs toilet. The kitchen was very well stocked. I don't think we lacked anything! We did call the company at one point as the days we were there happened to be a little cold and rainy and the hot tub was not maintaining heat in the morning. They said they were aware of the problem. Hopefully they fixed it for the next group. Thankfully, it heated back up for the evening, so we really couldn't complain. We would definitely stay here again!
