The amenities and ambience was perfect! However, the showers are very tiny to fit comfortably and we had a hard time finding the cabin due to the address not being on the sign for the Woodstone. Overall, we had a fantastic time!

We had a wonderful stay at Woodstone Lodge! The location was good - about 15 to 20 minutes from the hiking trails and the property itself was peaceful and private. The house was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with just about everything we needed. We’d definitely stay here again!

The cabin is beautiful and very clean. It is well stocked with plates, glasses, silverware & cooking utensils. Being that it’s recently built everything was in beautiful shape. We had problems lighting the gas fireplace and we received quick responses. Very, very nice cabin.

Cabin is beautiful. Furniture and beds comfortable. A lovely place to unwind. Heads up: take the wifi password with you there is no cell service so you will not be able to access the VRBO app to get it and there isnt a sign or anything to support you in that regard. Hot tub is nice but it was dirty so we didnt use it. I did contact the host, they sent someone to clean it next day and provided us a smores kit for our trouble, we just werent comfortable enough to use it. A couple things to be aware, bring hangers, there are none in the closets and a small amount of drawer apace. If you plan on cooking be prepared with serving size bowls or platters if you will need them there arent any there. And bring a bag of ice so you have some. I thought the property was lovely and would not hesitate to recommend.

The property is beautiful. The cabin is lovely. The beds, furniture, and outdoor seating is comfortable. The hot tub is large and looks nice but it had a pink scummy ring around it when we opened it and the chlorine float was empty so we didnt use it. We did call about the hot tub, they came the next day and cleaned it and brought us a smores kit for the trouble. We just didnt feel comfortable getting in it after seeing that. The kitchen is really nice, but if you plan on cooking there are some things missing like serving bowls, platters, or mixing bowls. And there is nothing to clean the grill with. There wasn't a cookie sheet, we picked up a couple and left them there for future guests. Also make sure to note the wifi password so you have it when you get there, it's not noted anywhere in the house and there is no cell service so you can't reach the VRBO app (Verizon) There is also no washer or dryer so pack accordingly. Bring hangers there are none in the closet and there is only a small amount of drawer space. Also there is no ice maker, so if you will need it bring some with you. All of these things are just a heads up and in no way take away from the wonderful stay you will have here. I would highly recommend to others and would come back. We had a wonderful relaxing time.

This is a beautiful house. Very clean and located on a wooded lot. We liked the secluded feel. The fire pit was great, and we used the hot tub both days we were there. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had most supplies. There is no icemaker in the freezer, so bring your own if you want cubes for drinks. This is a newer property, and it could use a few convenience additions. There is no rug inside the front door, and there are a lot of pine needles, etc., as you are in the woods, and would have liked a rug to collect some of the debris. There are not hooks or a closet to hang coats/sweatshirts on etc. in any of the rooms. There were no hangers in the bedroom closets. The downstairs shower is very small; the upstairs showers are more spacious. We appreciated the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers. There are no hooks in the bathroom for towels/bathrobes. It looks like there are hookups for a washer/dryer, but they were not installed at the time of our trip. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others, but also wanted to give feedback on some small convenience things that would have made the house perfect.

Beautiful cabin. Little things could be more helpful like an extra or 2 garbage bags for trash. The showers were extremely small and I am a small person. So that was a bit uncomfortable and there were not enough shower towels in my opinion….if I would have known I would have brought some of my own. The place was easy to find even thou some of the reviews says it was not. Beautiful cabin very clean but a tad bit over priced for what you get in my opinion.

Hocking get-away

First impression very nice! I do believe the pics make it look bigger than it is. The worst thing is we lost power for almost 9 hours! Also the wi-fi password should be in the cabin, because when theres no wifi, you cant just look it up on your phone, so then you have no Tv either. My daughter and her boyfriend left during the power outage because he medically needs equipment charged, so that was a bummer. She would have liked a generator incase of power-outage. Over all we all enjoyed it very much! Great Hot tub!

Enjoyable stay

The cabin is beautiful and was very clean. There could be a few minor improvements. The first being a better address and signage to help find the correct place. A sign with the address and an arrow up the correct driveway would have really helped us find the cabin. The second, a bigger coffee machine maker for a house that holds 6 and also hooks in the bathrooms for towels. Overall, great place to stay and relax.

Girls Trip

After getting the door code figured out, we had a great time at the lodge. The pictures are exactly as you will find it. It was very clean. We had no cell service, so contacting the owner was a little tricky as we had to drive down the road a little bit until we got service to text them. Wi-Fi was good. No hangers in the closets - those would have been nice. Also, no washer or dryer, so if you plan on staying more than a few days, you should pack extra or plan on going to a laundromat and we didn't do that, but I'm guessing that would be probably a 20 - 30 min drive into town for one. There were six of us, and we all had a great time and would recommend this place to others!

Nice place in the hills.

Pretty awesome really, hot tob, fire pit, clean, good seating, beds were nice and firm and a well equipped kitchen. Needs a teakettle to heat hot water, and a dish drainer.

Nice New Cabin

We booked 4 nights at this property. The cabin is very new (as of March/April 2025) with nice appliances and furnishings.The location is just off the road, but there is very little traffic and feels more secluded than it is. About 20-30 minutes from most of the trails and 30 minutes away from Logan (which has restaurants and grocery stores). There is almost no shopping or food near this cabin, so make sure to stock up on supplies before you get there. There is a nice little winery a few minutes away which I would recommend visiting.We had a maintenance problem (again, a very new cabin, so things are bound to pop up at first), and received a response from management within about an hour of contacting them. Communication was very good.The only real criticism I have is that the downstairs shower is very small. I am medium build guy, and found it uncomfortable. Someone who is larger build will not want to use it. The upstairs showers are bigger.Overall, I would recommend this cabin for most people wanting to hike and see the Hocking Hills area.
