The space
The space is cozy and homey! A very comfortable, sunny, clean 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment minutes from Saint Lawrence Gap and a short walk to Oistins Fish Fry and Maxwell beach. The apartment is one of 4 apartments in a 2-story building.
It has everything you need with a double-size bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom. It also has a comfortable living room, kitchen with appliances, and a dining area containing a dining table with 4 side chairs. The kitchen has pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, and everything you need to cook your own meals.
There are further amenities including a TV with Firestick (Netflix, etc.), a washing machine (with outside line drying), a parking space, and WiFi. For your comfort, there is air conditioning in both bedrooms. The bathroom has a toilet, sink, and shower with a removable head. The apartment also comes with an iron, hangers, a closet for your clothes, a coffee maker, a tea kettle, a microwave, and a small outdoor area. Each guest will be provided with a bath & beach towel set.

your use. Please let us know if you would rather have bedroom#1 with the full/double bed or Bedroom #2 with the two twin beds. If you book for 3 or 4 people both bedrooms will be unlocked. If it's only 1 or 2 of you and you still want both bedrooms, please enter 3 guests on your reservation.

To ensure you get settled in and have a great start to your stay with us, we have provided an initial supply of:
1 set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, & beach towel) per guest
1 set of sheets (a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and 2 pillowcases) per bed
3 rolls of toilet paper
1 hotel-size soap bar per person
***But these may not be enough for your entire stay. Please purchase additional supplies while in Barbados or carry extra with you if you believe that you will need more.
Neighborhood overview
We are in a safe neighborhood, on a quiet street yet less than a minute walk from public transportation. It's a great place to wind down after a fun-filled, busy day in Barbados.
The apartment is only 17 minutes drive from the BGI airport.
Oistins is on the south coast of the island. Have a local lunch or a fast-food lunch from KFC or Chefette (local fast-food chain). The Oistins Fish Fry (4 minutes drive) has become one of the most popular visitor activities on the island!
St.Lawrence Gap - 5 minutes drive.
"The Gap" is where the party animals will feel right at home! There are numerous nightclubs and bars, along with excellent beachfront restaurants.
There are several beaches within walking distance. The sea is a bit lively on the south coast of Barbados. However, the waters are still calm enough for safe swimming, even for supervised children.
The main commercial area of Barbados is the capital city of Bridgetown (18 minutes drive). Here you will find an abundance of duty-free shops (selling fine jewelry, china, liquor, etc.) and wayside vendors (selling just about everything!). Bridgetown - and the nearby Garrison - were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list in 2011.
We have two cameras (located at the front and back entrances) to monitor the exterior of the apartment.
Getting around
There's access to many buses less than a minute walk from the apartment.
It's quite easy to get around Barbados by public transport. The standard bus fare in Barbados is BBD$3.50. This is the equivalent of US$1.75. Buses will take you across the island to popular visitor sites including sites such as Farley Hill National Park, Bathsheba, Harrison's Cave, Gun Hill Signal Station, and Oistins.
If you get a rental car, you have a parking spot right beside the apartment.
