Idyllic, secluded setting for a quiet getaway from the City. Main house (1500 sf) has two bedrooms with king & queen size beds, kitchen, two full, completely renovated bathrooms. Den has pullout couch with queen mattress. Pool cottage (1500 sf) includes kitchenette, recreation room, screened patio, full bath, large tv room and area to spread out. The house has central air; the cottage has window air conditioning. New gas grill, beautiful new pool and "cool to touch" stone deck for private sunning. Wooded lots on three sides, with 6 foot fence around the entire back yard. Bocci Court, Ping Pong table and inside games for rainy days and quiet evenings. Large screen TVs with access to your Netflix, Hulu, etc. accounts - TV in the den has most cable channels. Kitchen stocked with plates, glasses, flatware, pots and pans, etc. Bath and pool towels, sheets, etc. all provided. Perfect for family or three couples. Three minute walk to private beach in one direction. Five minute walk to a full service marina in the other direction. 90 minutes from Manhattan, but a world away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect spot to relax, spend time with family and friends and enjoy life the way it was meant to be. Enjoy the dozens of North Fork wineries within an easy drive. Minimum two-week stay required by the Southold Township.

We were in the area for a wedding and the Barnes’ home was perfect for our family. Lots of room to spread out, immaculately clean, beautiful pool area, short walk down to the small beach area. Close to lots of wineries and adorable village of Mattituck. The communication with the hosts was great and they were extremely responsive. A great place to stay if you are visiting the area!

The hosts were amazingly responsive. The house setup was perfect. We never felt we were on top of each other, lots of space to feel comfortable. The entire property had that resort vibe but at the same time felt very homey. HIGHLY recommended !!!

Wonderful home. Loved hanging by the pool after a day of biking and wine tasting. We also enjoyed having dinner on the deck and then playing games at the dining room table before heading to bed exhausted. The cottage was great for the third couple. We would love to come back again.

Fantastic North Fork Escape

The check-in process and communication couldn't have been easier. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. Conveniently located a walkable distance from Love Lane and a short drive from wineries (which is what brought us to the area)

Lovely Stay

We had a really nice time at the Barnes' property. There are two bedrooms with two bathrooms in the main house. Just as a warning, the bed in one of the rooms is extremely high, but there is a step stool for getting in and out. The kitchen is well stocked. The second bathroom is off the kitchen. We had everything we needed and the owners were very responsive. My son stayed in the cottage with a space heater, but it was really too cold for this time of year. He could have used a few more blankets. My only minor complaint was there were no bars of soap for showering anywhere. Bring your own.Otherwise, it was a perfect stay and we will probably stay there again for the next family event.
