'The decor was really something special. The room I stayed in was Marco Polo. Although a little on the dark side, the lighting was done well that you did not realise so much.
The bath was amazing. The water temperature and how quick it filled up was great. My husband said the shower was fabulous and he did not want to come out. Do be careful of scolding yourself though as the hot water is immediately very hot.
The mattress and pillow was comfortable. I had a great nights sleep.

'Wij hadden 2 kamers naast elkaar.

'Zeer goed bed, goeie douche, dubbele kamer ruim.

'The rooms don't really look like the ones in the pictures, in reality they are a bit more worn down and DYI rather than the pictures which give a modern clean look. Cleanlyness is a bit of an issue, with grease on the kitchenettes, specs of blood on the bedding, even one of the clean towels. The whole hotel is also not maintenainted to the most profesional of standards, and really resembles a university accomodation rather than a hotel.
The staff however are great, very friendly and helpful....

the hotel itself is near the shopping, bars and restaurants but just enough to be entry on a side street so you can relax a little from the chaos,
the only negatives i can think of is getting harassed for change everytime your outside hotel - and for 3 nights that meant almost each time i enter or leave hotel which they should really do something about,
and the vegetarian options of room service should be improved a lot and should be all hours for the 5 star level of hotel
