19th century School House located in quiet village within the Vendee

The School House originally built and owned by the commune is located within the quiet village of Marsais-Sainte-Radegonde. The village sits on the outskirts of the Mervant Forest and is a 15 min drive to the town of Fontenay le Comte which offers a large selection of shops and restaurants.
This large house is ideal for large groups as it consists of 5 bedrooms, 4 upstairs and 1 downstairs, sleeping 13 in total. 2 bathrooms, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs, a reception room and a large kitchen measuring 10m x 5m. Outside there is a small bbq terrace area which leads onto a large rear garden which has garden furniture available
For the children there is Xbox 360 in one of the bedrooms, a selection of board games and a football goal in the rear garden.

The Mervant forest offers walking, mountain biking, swimming, sailing and fishing. There is also a zoo and an adventure park available.
The historic village of Vouvant is a 12 min drive, regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in France.
The Puy du Fou which is an historical theme park is a 50 min drive, this is the second most popular theme park in France after Disneyland
The beautiful beaches of the west coast, La Trenche sur Mer & Faute sur Mer are within an hours drive offering miles of sandy beaches as well as Dunes casino
The coastal city of La Rochelle is located an hour away offering restaurants, boat trips, aquarium and access to the island de Re.
Finally there is over 1500km of marked cycle paths in the Vendee offering something for everyone.
