Sunlight through sliding glass door lights up walls the color of turquoise ocean and a floor the color of the silken sands. Sitting on cozy sofas and chairs, you’re surrounded by seaside images, from baskets of shells to sculptures of starfish and lobsters. Lush indoor ferns and bird of paradise flowers add tropical color throughout the unit.

The kitchen comes with all modern appliances and cookware you need to prepare a tropical feast for your family.

The seaside décor extends into the bedrooms, where a sea chest serves as your bedside table and indoor ferns fill the room. When you awaken in the morning, you’ll be greeted by paintings of beaches dotted with palm trees, just like the ones you’ll soon be visiting. In the second bedroom, a giant conch shell table sits in the corner, and wall-mounted sculptures of mermaids, starfish, and schools of colorful tropical fish will fill the kids’ dreams with all the ocean adventures awaiting them in the morning. Both bedrooms come with televisions, plenty of closet and drawer space, and sliding glass doors that open up to the balcony.

This spacious balcony extends the length of the unit. Relax on the wicker chairs and sun loungers, massaged by the ocean breezes, and take in the stunning view of the beach. Down below, you can also see the heated pool and hot tub in the midst of lush green gardens fringed with palm trees. Garden paths lead to the tennis courts, the fitness center, and the social room.

People drive for miles to come to South Beach, but you’re right next door. Pack up the umbrella, cooler, beach chairs and beach towels that all come with the rental, and head to the access point, where a boardwalk lined with sabal palms leads you the white powdery sands and turquoise waters of South Beach. Another short walk takes you to Caxambas Boat Park.
