We enjoyed the property very much. The only issue we had was the pool which due to the rain we feel need to be cleaned. The agent acted professionally and send to correct the issue. Everything else was on point. We will definitely consider this property for future vacation.

Loved Marco island

The property management company was prompt and attentive. Lots of bedroom space. Shared space(Kitchen, eat in kitchen, living room) is pretty small. The house is showing signs of wear on the walls, bikes and kitchen items. Kitchen is not as well stocked with needed amount of silverware, plates, decent pots/pans as expected. Garage door was problematic-opener did not work and sensors at the bottom were disconnected. Plenty of towels, blankets, pillows which was appreciated! We loved the outdoor pool space.

Chaos

It started with delayed check in because previous guest destroy the living room furniture and left the house a mess. The host sent me to another property but it wasn’t cleaned yet. Ended up at the original property but without furniture. Also the garbage disposal didn’t work and there were miscellaneous item damaged or dirty. A single replacement couch was brought in on Tuesday so we were without furniture from Saturday night to Tuesday. New furniture was brought in Thursday. The seating space was still lacking for the size of house and we had to bring patio furniture in to accommodate everyone. The disposal was finally repaired on Thursday. With all this, we were offered a 600 refund. We should have not been charged for the Saturday because of the late checkin, that alone would be nearly 600. I asked for a further discount because of all the hassle and disruption to our stay but they refused. They basically responded that they could have just canceled our reservation. Very disappointed in how it all turned out.

Broken AC in 100+ temps

We were looking forward to our trip. Typically in the years of checking in we have been able to arrive an hour or so prior; when I contacted the property manager (she was very very kind) she explained the previous check out family destroyed the house so to speak so the cleaning wouldn’t be completed until 4pm check in. She then let me know at that moment the air conditioning unit was broken and each room had individual in window units, but that it felt comfortable. At 3:47pm we arrived to the property to find it was 88° inside and the cleaning ladies (2 for a large house) and they weren’t near completion. 4pm hit and they are still cleaning, I explained that living In south Florida I am well aware of the importance of a fully functioning AC unit. I contacted her and explained That we should have been notified well in advance about the AC issues to make the choice if we wanted to stay or cancel and find another property as we were a party of 10, 4 of which were children. Sadly we had to stay a night because we purchased groceries and they wouldn’t last the car ride home to Miami. And on top of that at the last second we had to book another home. The homeowner did reach out, but at that moment there was nothing more that could be done. Again the property manager was kind and sweet and accommodating the best she could. In booking this property I would contact and reach out about the AC problem. 88° plus inside and 100° plus outside not acceptable.

Nice place

Nice location with good access for shopping. Owner need to fix the pool screen as mosquitoes did not allow to spend to much time around the area after dark. My family did enjoy the property. Thanks

Great house but…

There were a lot of little things that added up, and although very responsive things they couldn’t fix during our stay. Temp in the house seemed warm, and fan in master didn’t work, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Kitchen was stocked with the bare minimum of items, like no sheet pans or minimal glassware, you should not expect to have a full use kitchen. Several things broken that I had to report so they didn’t think we did it, like one of two lounge chairs, tiles in pool, cigarette butts left in multiple places yet they say they’ll charge you if you leave them. I had to keep reporting things to them which was frustrating. Like the kitchen, not enough supplies. We ran out of toilet paper & trash bags on our last day, and none of us could go get any. We literally were rationing our toilet paper to make it through. It says it supplies shower essentials, but it seemed like left over travel items from other people. Could barely have enough towels for shower & pool, and not enough wash cloths. We thought we’d just wash towels daily, but the dryer didn’t work well. We had to run items at least 3 times to get them dry.

Family short stay

The house is as nice as pictured, and we enjoyed our stay - only a couple of things detracted from a higher score - early morning the smell from the marsh close to house was awful, inside and out. It did disperse once the low tide was over with. When we arrived there were some dirty pans in cupboard and the BBQ was in need of a serious clean. Otherwise all ok and the bikes were a nice touch.

Perfect pool

I brought my family here in Dec. of 2022. We were 5 adults, and children 9, 6 and 2 years, and a 7 month old infant. The location was great: easy driving distances to good restaurants, as well as the beach and other attractions. The heated pool was wonderful! We spent a lot of time there, and plenty of pool toys (including a floaty seat for the baby) were provided. Outdoor seating was lovely for the adults. A high chair and pack n play were essential for us and were provided. Having only 2 bathrooms for 9 people required a bit of juggling of shower times. Also, since the shower in the bathroom near the kitchen was a small step down, and was often wet, I slipped and fell and could have hurt myself. It would have been nice to have some no slip grippers or something in there. I’ve stayed in VRBO places where toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap and toiletries are provided. They were not provided here, although the hosts said that if we left receipts, they would reimburse us for the toilet paper and paper towels. It bothered me a little that we had to buy hand soap, then leave it for other guests, who might know it was left over from previous guests. If the cleaning crew refilled what was already there, no one would have to runout and buy it. Also, in 5 star places, sometimes there is “Welcome to your stay” coffee and perhaps specialty items from the area provided. In addition, matching towels, well organized kitchen cabinets and attention to detail would make this look like more of a 5 star rental. We found mismatched towels, drinkware in scattered in several cabinets, random cleaning products under the sinks, and dust bunnies in the corners behind beds. On the other hand, every time I contacted the hosts, they were very responsive. Answers came from them, or VRBO staff very quickly. Also, we had to ask for a late departure due to our flights home, and since the home wasn’t booked for that day, we were able to stay longer, which was a super nice thing to do. I would certainly stay here again.

Everything we expected and more

Our family ranged from 13 to 68 years old. While everyone liked having the pool and patio area, our teenagers really loved it especially on the rainy days. We normally vacation together in hotels or condos. Being in a house together and having enough space with a great kitchen was better then expected. The Publix being only a mile away was very convenient. There were two minor issues that were addressed immediately. This was simply a great family experience. The bikes were a big plus for teens.

It was a nice home but seemed to be lacking some of the household items you would want (like enough plates for a large family). We contacted the property manages due to running out of toilet paper. They offered to bring us paper towels or for us to go to the Dollar Store to buy TP. Dollar Store TP doesn't seem like the 5-star treatment to us. The pool was nice. The beds were comfortable enough. The showers took a long time to warm up to even a comfortable temperature. We spent most if our time out on the pool deck and outside TV area.

Great property, feels like home

Very nice home and the rental owners were very good at communication. They brought in a pack and play and high chair for our baby. The house comes with just about everything you would ever need.
