'What a great find in Duluth! The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, the shower water was hot, and the kitchen area was appreciated. The staff were so kind and helpful! I enjoyed the bar, gift shop, and outdoors focused ambiance. The only downside was that I could hear my neighbors at times, but for the price and value it wasn't a big deal. I'll be back!'

'The historic building was so cool! They still had the old elevator call buttons and mail shoot and many other details. The room was nice and clean and smelled fresh. This room was available at the same price point as the cheap motels/hotels nearby and was a much better experience than the other nearby hotel we had stayed in the day before. '

'It's very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. It's less than a block from the Duluth Grill and popular breweries are within easy walking distance. I'm a 62 year old female and felt comfortable walking, even in the evening. Easy drive to Canal Park. I always choose this hotel when I go to Duluth.'

They would benefit from having a big hotel sign on the Michigan side so drivers can see clearly from the street or on the facade of the building above the front entrance. Wish the car parking situation was clearly described online. Parking is available across the street or a few blocks away in the convention center, but it’s not free of charge for hotel guests. In the other words, the hotel does not have a parking garage; there is parking near by and...
