'Lovely and kind hosts, a beautiful and spacious studio with a private kitchen and balcony, super clean and serviced daily! Large refrigerator with bottled water and a freezer. Great for the warm weather. Very good and quiet air conditioning in the room. In the upstairs hallway for hotel guests, fresh coffee, cake, and fresh fruit are freely available!'

'Will never go there again!!!'

'The pool was excellent. Bar & restaurant on site. Great location with parking.'

'A beautiful place nestled in the mountains, set in a charming, beautifully restored village. Its location is also ideal, roughly halfway between Elafonissi Beach and the Balos Lagoon, making it a great base for exploring both. Our room was a wonderful cottage, full of character and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The restaurant was another highlight, serving truly outstanding dishes. A wonderful experience overall.'

'We drove our car there at night, the road was wiggly & dark ( no lights other than the car lights). For us it was a little nerve racking. The view was pretty in the morning. The room looked nice and clean, but the fridge was uncleaned, Staff were nice and welcoming. In the room description it said the mattress is Tempur-pedic, but that definitely wasn’t!. In the room descriptions it said we would get a bottle of sparkling wine, but we didn’t get that either. I opened the drawers under the bed...

'Mooi net hotel met net appartement met erg kleine badkamer. Alleen hadden wij een appartement zonder zicht, we keken uit op hele grote haag dus was het niet aangenaam om er te zitten. Het zwembad was net maar erg koud. Het ontbijt was klein maar wel lekker, voor vers fruitsap diende je bij te betalen maar is een aanrader.'

'Really enjoyed our stay both in Paleochora and Blue Horizon. Very friendly and helpful personnel. The terrace (where one can also get breakfast) provides fantastic sunset views. The bed is very comfortable and the room is well -equipped. Great location right by the well- organized beach (hotel stay includes the use of comfy beach beds). We had a problem with sewage smell which we reported and staff followed up swiftly to try to resolve the issue. '

'Nice and quiet, very accommodating staff.'

'Zeer goed hotel, vriendelijk personeel, erg persoonlijke aanpak. Zeer lekker ontbijt, lekker restaurant: aanrader'

'Goed ontbijt. Kamer was prima, elke dag schone handdoeken. Wel gehorige kamer hadden wij. Op loop afstand van strand en boulevard en 20min lopen naar het stad centrum.'

'The room was cleaned daily and very well. The receptionist, Hara, was sweet and welcoming and helpful all the way. Breakfast was served from 8-10 on 1 min away hotel from the same chain and the staff there were also very friendly and welcoming. The view from the Balcony to the Venetian Harbor is even prettier in person (the photos here are only a snippet). Thank you for the great experience! We will be back'

'Mooi hotel met vriendelijk personeel op zeer goede lokatie, stadje en strand op 5min.wandelen.Voor ons was het ontbijt wat minder, start pas om 7h30 wat laat is als je uitstap hebt gepland, alles wordt op voorhand gemaakt en opgewarmd zoals eitjes.Er is ook niet veel variatie, was voor ons een minpunt.'

'Highly recommend staying at Alcanea. Eva, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff/service was great. And the complimentary breakfast offered lots of local options and all were delicious. Best part of this stay was the view and location. The view of the port was awesome with the water, local bars/shops, and mountains in the distance. And there were dozens of restaurants and shops offering all we might need/want. This hotel made Chania feel like home.'

'Accueil et chambre parfaits, service top, excellent pdj. Merci, vraiment. '

'My mother and I stayed here from June 22 to June 30, and we had such a wonderful time. Argiro, the host, is an incredibly kind and caring woman. She was always easy to reach whenever I had any questions. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, and has everything you could possibly need. It was also excellent value for money, especially considering everything it offers. After spending the whole day exploring, it was amazing to relax in the private jacuzzi. We felt completely safe, both in...

'Excellent. The sea views amazing'
