'The two ladies at the reception were absolutely lovely, warm and gave great advice for where to go in the surrounding area. They also dressed us in the traditional clothing and took lots of photos (this was a free experience). Definitely some of the best service we have received since staying in Japan. The breakfast was also delicious and is authentically Japanese. Go here if you want a true Japanese experience with clean rooms, kind staff, an onsen, and overall just a lovely time!'

'Echt geweldig zeker een aanrader '

'for us it felt fake, like a show for tourists, not real Japanse culture'

'This hotel was amazing, it was super comfortable, the staff was amazing, as a westerner, the public bathrooms took a second to get used to but we did, they were an amazing experience. I will be staying at Hida again'
