'Overall the hotel room was nice and clean, my issue was with the bathroom. There were a few gnats (or drain flies) in the bathroom which is a bad sign of scum buildup. The toilet clogged up a few times. Thankfully it didn’t overflow, just needed a few extra flushes. The toilet seat and lid were loose from the toilet itself. A good place to stay if you just need a bed at the end of the day. The diner across the street is a town staple, but it’s closed on Mondays and a crosswalk would be...

'Geweldig nieuw hotel, grote kamer met zelfs een keuken met koelkast, vriezer, magnetron en vaatwasser. '

'I saw someone else write a review that said it was weird the curtains didn't go all the way down in the window area and they were right, which was a bit odd... Also the doors to the rooms are HEAVY! You can hear them slamming in the night while trying to sleep and it's no one's fault, they just automatically slam due to their weight. I wouldn't allow my senior father to handle the door at all as I didn't trust they wouldn't knock him over. On one of our two mornings, the breakfast ladies...

'More like a bed and buffet! Ask Ray about the imported from Naples pastries! I stayed in comfy room 2 which has its own private entry/exit n the side. Check out hole in the wall Friends & Co for amazing lobster roll and fries and Allegre for Italian 4-course prix-fixe. Hammonasset Beach State Park nearby was a nice oasis in the fall. Would visit here again with the lady.'

'Zeldzaam mooi hotel aan zee Kamers met uitzicht op zee Mooie grote kamers met balkon, Het hele hotel ademt een sprookjesachtige sfeer uit, vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk restaurant met wederom Zeezicht Enige minpuntje is wellicht de badkamer Bad met douchegordijn past niet helemaal bij deze klasse Absolute aanrader!'

'Hotel that allows smoking says it all'

'A lovely stay at a classic New England B & B. Perfect location for a visit to Madison.'

'Our family has been using American Inn in Branford, CT as a rest stop to visit my wife's mother in New Hampshire. It is a short trip (under 2 hours) to get a head start out of the New York metro area after evening rush hour. All rooms are accessed from the outside right in front of your parking space. They have two queen beds and rooms are always clean... and the price is right 😉 It is perfect for our trip!'

'looved the acomodations. the stairs we a little hard for me and the toilet in the Haddad rm made alot of noise when flushing.. I love our breakfast anf the coffee'

'For the price it was a decent enough hotel to sleep for the night. Definitely needed some bathroom upgrades, and the free continental breakfast is very limited. Again, not a bad place to stay for the price for one night.'
