'Centrally located in the Old Port, with views of the harbor, this was a last minute — therefore pricey — excellent find for a fall weekend getaway. Stylish, elegant rehab of 19th century granite industrial building. Whimsical decor notes referring to 19th century owner Evalina Fox. Nicely appointed kitchenette — though if you came to Portland for the foodie scene, you might end up just using it for breakfast, as we did. 'It was so spacious, kitchen area was well kept and they have QR codes to help travels understand how to use certain things'

'Not very much parking and you have to schedule it in advance. Expedia didn't warn. It could be a disaster if you don't plan for it and rent a car.'

'room was very modern, however some areas did not look well cleaned (edge if the bed had some dried white liquid). the surrounding area has nice shops but is very sketchy at night. did not feel comfortable with the parking situation. also at 6am sounded like maintenance or cleaning crew was constantly in and out of the elevator making tons of noise. was good for a night but wouldnt stay again.'

'This was a super cute boutique inn and the location was ideal. The staff was super friendly!'

'Fantastic stay. We had the Stovall room which was very spacious. Bed was huge and comfy and the bathroom was also very big. Nice shower with lots of water pressure and nice products. Service was super friendly and everything was clearly explained. We’re lucky enough to be able to park next to the building. Only thing that could finish things off would be a small fridge in the room and a coffee maker.'

'Great Location. Amazing views from room. Staff very friendly.'

'Loved our stay here. Really comfortable bed, lots of drinking and eating opportunities around the hotel. '

'The room was nice, but noisy - you can hear footsteps and room noise from above and from outside. The staff needs additional training - they were helpful on a minimal level.'

'This is not a hotel I would choose again almost got attacked by a dog getting on the elevator the shower is out in the middle of the room no privacy when traveling with others hideous decor some wonderful staff some not to much bar hardly open and watery coffee and I usually love Marriott’s the influx of dogs and ones that are not trained and the dog lunged at me'

'Helpful staff'

'Very close and convenient to shopping, restaurants and event centers. They have valet parking. Lobby is big and spacious. They have 2 restaurants in house.'
