The apartment itself was clean and reasonably well maintained inside. However, for a 13-night stay, no mid-stay cleaning was provided, and no cleaning supplies were left for guests to maintain the property themselves. Additionally, the listing advertised access to a kitchen, but there was no kitchen available as described, which was a significant inconvenience during a longer stay.Unfortunately, there were several issues during my stay. The courtyard flooded due to water entering through the door, there was no hot water for four days, and both the internet and lighting regularly stopped working. While the hot water issue was being addressed, I requested access to a vacant room simply to take a shower, but this was refused.The most frustrating aspect was communication. The property is advertised as being hosted by "Jean y Bea," but it is actually managed by a rental company. They were largely unresponsive through both their third-party booking platform and VRBO. I ultimately had to contact VRBO to obtain a phone number, which turned out to be incorrect. A friend living in Madrid eventually helped me obtain the correct contact details. Once I reached the right person, communication improved significantly, but the amount of time and effort required to get basic support was disappointing.Overall, the apartment was clean, but the inaccurate listing information, maintenance issues, lack of support, and poor communication made the experience far less enjoyable than expected.
