THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING

Rustic Wooded Setting

The Ford offers a peaceful, rustic retreat surrounded by woods and nature near the creek. With this beautiful natural setting comes the occasional visitor from the outdoors! Guests should expect to see wildlife and may occasionally encounter insects, spiders, ants, mice, or other pests inside or around the property.

We maintain routine pest control and work hard to keep the home clean and well maintained, but occasional sightings can happen in any wooded or rural setting. We recommend keeping doors closed and storing food properly during your stay.

Lower-Level Environment

The lower level can sometimes have a damp, earthy smell, particularly during periods of humid or rainy weather. We want guests to be aware of this characteristic of the home before booking.

No Pets: We love animals, but pets are not permitted at this property.

Quiet Hours: Although the home feels secluded, we ask that guests respect our neighbors by keeping noise down between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

Security Cameras: The property has two exterior cameras: a doorbell camera at the main entrance and a driveway floodlight camera. There are no cameras inside the home or in private areas.

Charcoal Grill: A charcoal grill is available for guest use. Please bring your own charcoal, lighter fluid, and grilling supplies.

Fire Pit: An outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs is available. Please bring your own firewood, kindling, and lighter.

Self Check-In: You`ll receive a personalized entry code 24 hours before arrival.

Digital Guest Guide: A detailed guest guide with property information and local recommendations will be sent five days before arrival.
House Rules | The Ford

Guests & Quiet Hours

- Maximum occupancy: 16 guests. Only registered overnight guests are permitted unless approved by the host.
- Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM. Please keep noise and music low out of respect for the peaceful surroundings.
- No parties, events, or large gatherings.

Smoking & Pets

- Smoking, vaping, and marijuana use are strictly prohibited inside the home.
- Pets are not permitted. Airbnb`s service animal and accessibility policies apply.

Parking

- Please park only in designated parking areas.
- There should be enough parking for 7 - 8 cars comfortably

Property & Outdoor Safety

- Children must be supervised, especially near the stream, fire pit, wooded areas, stairs, and balconies.
- The property includes natural terrain, wooded areas, wildlife, and a stream. Please use caution when exploring outdoors.
- There is no lifeguard or supervision at the stream. Children must be supervised near all water areas.
- Please do not climb on balcony railings or enter restricted areas.

Fire Pit Safety

- Fires are permitted only in the designated fire pit and must never be left unattended.
- Fully extinguish all fires after use.
- Burn clean firewood only. Do not burn trash or use accelerants.

Property Care

- Please treat the home, furnishings, and amenities with care and report any damage or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Please do not move furniture or alter locks, equipment, or home systems.
- The property is for residential lodging only. No commercial activities, filming, events, or subletting.
- Illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

Trash & Wildlife

- To avoid attracting wildlife, please do not leave trash bags or loose garbage outside the home.
- Designated outdoor trash containers are available for your use during your stay. Please ensure lids are securely closed.
- Do not dispose of trash in the woods, stream, or fire pit.

Before Checkout

- Turn off lights and securely close and lock all windows and doors.
- Please remember to take your personal belongings.
