'I love Fairfield layout. The room is very comfortable, two televisions helped a lot with our grandson around. Breakfast is excellent and the staff were very professional and friendly. My only complaint is that the internet was out for a whole day.'

'The Bookhouse is a wonderful concept! Prioritizing books, making them accessible everywhere, is delightful. There were adventurous and playful touches, including the secret hide-away on the first floor, behind a bookcase. Housing a hotel in a very old house is another terrific choice. The restoration process is clearly in progress; it's understandable that it's a long-term project. Drawbacks were largely fixable. 'The space was just what we needed to rest in the summertime while my kids went to camp at the Brandywine Battlefield. We did have an AC system that did not work until the next to last day and we were given another room. Other than that the pool was great, the breakfast was great, and the hotel was clean.'

'We loved our overnight stay at the Inn. It was comfortable and clean. I especially liked the heated towel bars in the bathroom! We had brunch at Krazy Kats before leaving and the food and service was phenomenal. We look forward to visiting again!'

'We were pleasantly surprised, the rooms were huge and super clean! Everyone was kind and helpful, and they had free laundry which came in super helpful! The pool is very small, but sufficient, and the breakfast was a good variety but they did struggle keeping up to keep things full, and most of the food, while tasty, wasn't hot. Will stay again!'
