Tastefully renovated, non-smoking, second floor unit. New updates every year. Light and bright with all the comforts of home! Lovely furnishings. Fully equipped new kitchen. Italian style tiles throughout the unit. Tempur-pedic mattress in master bedroom and walk-in shower. Amenities include: three HD (1080) LCD televisions in all rooms, DVD Stereo, CD, Blue Ray DVD player in living room, high speed internet, and an office!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The spacious unit is walking distance to the beautiful uncrowded beach and pool. We had a fun time shelling and even saw a manatee which is rare in salt water. The assigned parking space is very close to the unit as is the elevator. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need for meal preparation. There are numerous good restaurants within two miles as well as a Publix. The only downside is the unit desperately needs a new master bedroom mattress. Otherwise we enjoyed the calm, low key vibe and beauty of Longboat. Sarasota and St Armand’s circle are within a 15 minute drive if you want to explore further afield.
We threw the starfish back in the water. It was alive.

We greatly enjoyed this beautiful property and would love to visit again! The pool was a bit deep for our kids but would be perfect for older children (4ft at most shallow to 8ft deep). Easy walk to the beach and plenty of space at the beach. Mattress in master is very firm - if you’re particular, I hope that’s a good heads up. It is the one thing I can think to comment on that was less than ideal.

Perfect for our vacation

This property is ideally located, right on the beach and close to my parent's apartment. The staff were very nice. It was quiet and peaceful and we had a great view of the gulf. We would love to stay here every time we come down to Longboat Key.

Happy Christmas on Sand Cay Beach 212

Terrific location on Longboat Key! Steps away from the pool and beach. Nice lounge chairs are provided at beach and the office has umbrellas and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved the pickle ball and shuffle board. Tons of great restaurants. Short drive to terrific shopping/dining in St. Armands Circle. Slightly longer drive into Sarasota with all the arts and culture it holds, that is if you can tear yourself away from the gorgeous beach.

Sand Cay Beach resort is an excellent place to vacation with the family. The property is equipped with everything!! Canopies, beach umbrellas, cooler etc. the staff were pleasant and courteous. Even the other guesses were amicable and welcoming. The beach is a few steps from the property, clean, not crowded and the water and the sand reminds me a little bit the Caribbean beaches. I highly recommend this resort and we are planning to return.

First time taking our children (ages 9 & 7) to the beach and we had a fabulous time. The location was wonderful, the unit was clean and as described. The only suggestion we have is to fix the blinds in the bedrooms so that they cover the entire window - otherwise it was a great place to stay and we would stay here again!

Our stay was great. It was quiet and the beach wasn't crowded at all. Plenty of beach chairs. Great amenities. BEAUTIFUL BEACH. 15 minutes from St Armands. Grocery store close by. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful Stay!

Loved our stay in Unit 212! We love Longboat Key for its private beaches. The condo is just steps from the pool and the Beach. Our teenage boys had all the space they needed to play sports and run around outside. The condo was nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable in both rooms. Appreciated the bunk beds in the second bedroom. The balcony was great for morning coffee and meals. I would highly recommend this location for those looking for some family time! Will definitely visit again!

lovely stay--spacious and very clean.

clean, well kept up. shuffleboard, pool and tennis court all in good shape. Easy walk to the beach. Kitchen is very well equipped and generously supplied. They even had flour and sugar in the pantry. Beach towels also provided, and games in the cupboard! So it was all in all well stocked. The TV was good and instructions provided to access the stations. The terrace on this particular unit had views into the courtyard. Two quibbles: they leave you two dishwashing packs -- so if you're there for 3 or 4 or 7 days, you have to go out and buy more -- this should be included in housekeeping charges. I asked for more and was told we were given a "starter pack." There should be a tea kettle or something to boil water in, in the unit. This was missing.

Beautiful and Easy

This is the second time we have stayed at Sand Cay and have loved it! This condo felt slightly bigger than the last one we stayed at due to layout. So nice, furniture was comfy, loads of kitchen supplies which was a pleasant suprise. We cooked all our meals and had a great time. The deck with comfy table was awesome for eating outside. We plan on coming back!
