Hôtel Long Beach, Oak Island

« We stayed here 6 years ago. We knew the rooms were cozy. We returned because of the proximity to the beach. Last time, the island had very few lights and the stars were amazing! I felt like you could reach out and touch the Milky Way. Now there are more houses and lights and so, fewer stars were visible than in my backyard. There is now a fee for parking if you want to bring a vehicle with a cooler or whatever to the beach. The beach is still beautiful, room is cute, but had a weird smell, and...

« Whe had a great stay at the hotel just a few issues. Walls are paper thin and the noise level at midnite was aggravating. My grandson got stung by a huge wasp in the room 3 times but we worked it out. Location and cleanliness was very refreshing and I calked and they let us check in early which was very nice. I'd stay again and refer people to the hotel. »

« Our stay was great! The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful. We had an issue with our tv and maintenance was there within 2 minutes of our call to fix the tv. The indoor pool was great for our 4 year old son on a rainy morning. Breakfast was great with a wide variety to choose from. I accidentally forgot my toothbrush and the front desk was able to provide me with one along with toothpaste. Highly recommend! »

« The property is beautiful! The rooms are very Modern. All rooms face the river which gives a nice view! I highly recommend this hotel. The river beach is that great that I thought it was an ocean beach. My only observations are that the front desk is not 24 hours so you better check in before they close or make sure you reach out to them ahead so they can give you instructions how to check in after they close and that the parking lot is not too big and you might find difficulty parking if you...

« Had a wonderful relaxing stay. Room was very clean and modern. Bed was comfy. We sat by the pool most of our vacation but the beach is very accessible and beautiful. Would def stay again. »

« The rooms were smaller than I expected. The phone in the room did not work. The safe was locked in our room when we got there a little early even though they had a room ready. They want to charge us an additional $30 which I thought was ridiculous. »

« The room was decent. We had a room under us that kept beating on the ceiling like we were being loud... just walking to the bathroom. We were staying one night and ended up leaving at 9:30pm because of this.. there was no compensation, apologies, nothing. We did get our deposit back thankfully. . »
