'From the welcome when we'

'The bedroom and bathroom were good. The bed was firm but comfortable. The place overall has a lot of character and I'd stay there again.'

'Lovely night spent here. Has lovely atmosphere and real quality. Feels like you are in a much more expensive hotel. All staff were friendly and the food was great. Will definetly be back.'

'A fabulous hotel that goes the extra mile to make guests feel valued and comfortable. Extremely doggy friendly, with separate zones for guests unaccompanied by their 4 legged companions. Direct access to the beach, Ayshire Coastland Path further enhance the experience. I would definitely highly recommend The Waterside Hotel. Thank you'

'Expedia does not tell you they don’t answer phone calls from foreign numbers & they have no front desk/ staff on site so only way to communicate is thru Expedia. I couldn’t get continental breakfast because Expedia blocks emails & they couldn’t send me payment link. No food or beverage available on site or within walking distance. Food delivery was lame, cash only & no utensils. Decent shower, bed & wifi'

'Enjoyed having breakfast & being able to look out to the shoreline. Plus, easy access to the local area. Ray & Jackie are very welcoming hosts!'

'Difficult to park here, also a great pity that the owners who take people hard warned money don’t want to meet & greet their guests. The basics in guest care missing here. '

'We hadden een goedkopere kamer geboekt. Dan zijn m'n verwachtingen heus niet hoog. Maar tapijt in de badkamer sloeg wel alles. Dat is extreem onhygiënisch. Ook was de staat achterstallig, dat het behang van alle kanten los hing en het matras al 20 jaar geleden vervangen had moeten worden. Je lag direct op de veringen die inmiddels ook hun eigen vorm hadden gekregen.'

'We loved it here. The decor was on point. Little disappointed check out was 10am but that's just because we wanted to spend more time there. Excellent location for the town and nearby shops etc. 10 out of 10 for kerplunk being available! Thanks!'

'Minor cleaning issues but host was very quick to respond...Excellent View and Size was superb, Definitely will revisit...Dunoon was Magical....xo...'
