Llys-y-fran reservoir from the dam The 200acre reservoir was built between 1968 and 72 to provide water for south Pembrokeshire and the oil industry. Provision was made to increase the capacity of the reservoir if necessary but although this was not done, a few years ago a 20% increase was achieved by raising the levels of the outflows. The reservoir is used for recreational purposes including fishing, boating and walking around the circumference.

I stayed at the floating cabins for 2 nights and 1 in the hotel itself. All really good, the food, breakfast, the room, the gym. Enjoyed staying here and will make sure to book our staff in this hotel more often.

We only saw him when we had a problem with the tv.the cottage although roomy was very dated and in need of a complete refurbishment the fifth bedroom could not be accessed by the main accommodation which was not shown in the details.The towels provided were like drying with sandpaper.

Wonderfull house!
Our stay in Summerhaven was lovely. The house is super, clean, very light and lots of space. The area is just wonderfull. Those stairs are a good excercise every day, but I can imagine not very easy for some people. Our respect for Clive and Sheila for letting us stay in their beautiful house!
