Disappointed upon arrival. I arrived and the place smelled like cigars and/or cigarettes smoke and it was dusty. I immediately emailed the host. I opened the front & back door to air out the smoke but it did not help much. The next morning I sent an urgent message stating I was experiencing breathing issues due my asthma. I informed the host of the urgent manner and was informed they’ll send out with an ozone machine. I also requested for the filters to be changed. Midday, I was going to warm up food and the microwave was filthy. I emailed the host pictures of the microwave. She said she’ll send housekeeping out to clean it. I inquired again about maintenance but the host did not provide an ETA. A few hours later, I called but no one answered then I emailed to follow up. The host emailed stating that I need to be patient because they are assisting others and that maintenance was busy inspecting a list of units. I stated I had been patient and expressed that this is a medical issue. Another hour passed, it’s close to 5 PM and I had exceeded the amount of medication I could intake then I sent an email requesting to speak to mgmt. I called VRBO to assist and they wasn’t successful with contacting the host. I sent VRBO photos. Maintenance finally arrived, he changed the dirty filter then I was instructed I had to leave for 2 hrs while the ozone machine runs. I was inconvenienced and almost had to go to ER and still haven’t received a call from management yet.
