Firstly, the apartment was situated conveniently for the metro into the city centre.
The apartment itself was dated, and in need of some TLC.
We had no issue with the above as our time in the apartment was limited, as we were out most of the time.
The issues I have are with the horrendous smell coming from the drainage system in the bathroom, which then ran right through the apartment. It was awful. The window in the bathroom led into the dining area so there was absolutely no escaping it.
The shower was powerful, but to access it you had to get into it from the top end of the bath as the shower screen took the whole length it was a crazy set up and very dangerous in wet conditions.
If you are travelling with elderly or people less able to climb over a back end of a bath don’t stay here as you won’t be able to shower. That is not an exaggeration it’s fact.
I was glad I stayed for 3 nights as anymore would not of been possible purely down to the smell.
Which is a shame as the apartment itself is located in a great location.
I will definitely return to Lisbon it’s beautiful, just not in this apartment.
