Nicknamed the 'Dollhouse on the Point', this meticulously maintained and completely updated home is an ideal family setting in Lindstrom only 35 minutes North of the Twin Cities metro area. 150-feet of south facing sandy lakeshore for the kids to play on South Center Lake (300 total feet of lakeshore, 1625 acres combined with North Center Lake). Note: Due to varying precipitation amounts the water levels and beach can change and may not be exactly as shown.

The lake home sleeps 10-16 with 5 private bedrooms including a 6-person trundle-bed room.

With the amenities of home-- a front-loading washer and dryer, top-rated Novaform 14" Serafina Pearl Gel Queen Memory Foam mattresses in all 5 bedrooms, bedding, a kitchen fully stocked with cookware and dishes, a microwave and a living room SmartTV with mesh WiFi internet access throughout the home.

Bountiful bass and pan fishing off of the dock or from your boat. Large private park-like landscaped yard with level elevation to the water. Two fire pits for evening bonfires. Exceptional views from every angle and every room. A true Up-North retreat. Towering trees, unbelievable sun rises and sunsets. *The Master bedroom has a Novaform-mattress queen bed with dresser and sitting area. Includes private oversized full master bath with double vanities. Picturesque views of the park-like setting and bay.

*The Nautical Room hosts a Novaform-mattress queen bed and views of the main lake with a walk-through jack-and-jill 3/4 bath that continues through to the kids bunk room.

*The Beach Room has two Novaform-mattress Queen-size trundle beds with twin mattresses underneath for a total of six sleeping spots and views of the main lake.

*The oversized Picasso Room has 2 Novaform-mattress queen beds, 1/2 bath with laundry, and a twin size roll-away with views of the park-like setting and back bay.

*The main level bedroom has a Novaform-mattress queen bed with lakeside views. A 3/4 bath is located just down the hallway.

The location is quiet and the fishing is great off the dock for little kids. They had a blast fishing and the house has everything you need to feel like home. We had a great time and the everyone looks forward to coming back!

Beautiful home with lots of space

We had a large party of people coming to MN for a family event. We had an additional person join, which Mark quickly helped get on the list. The home is beautiful and had room for all of us! The lake can be seen from every room in the house which made every bedroom a top choice! Now to go back when we have more time to spend enjoying the lake!

BEAUTIFUL Location!

BEAUTIFUL location - private and within 20 minutes of Taylors Falls. Communication with the home owner was prompt and efficient. Home was very clean. WELL STOCKED KITCHEN!! 2 coffee makers, a variety of basic cooking necessities, plenty of plates/bowls/cups/utensils. Pretty standard check-out procedures (bed linens gathered, towels gathered, garbage out). A nice home in a perfect location!

Lake Home in Lindstrom

The location of this property is fantastic, located at the end of a peninsula - in town, near Taylor's Falls, etc. Communication with the property owner and the property manager could not have been better!! Overall, the home is very nice. The living room and dining area were great for our family with very comfortable furniture. The beds were also very comfortable. There were just a few things that prompted the overall 4 rating versus a 5 rating. (If I could, I would give it a 4.5!) The beginning of the dock was approximately 10 feet from shore, accessible via two wood planks suspended across concrete blocks. This created a safety hazard when our 3 year old granddaughter wanted to go on the dock; as well as Grandpa who was slowed due to recent knee surgery. The property could benefit from a good exterior cleaning and a monthly pest service (I can't say for sure they don't already have one) as there are an awful lot of spiders and bugs around the exterior of the house, on the deck, etc. And just a few small touches on the inside of the house could push the rating to a 5 - such as there were no wash cloths in any of the bathrooms, and the listing incorrectly indicated there were children's games. But, overall - we had a very nice stay!

Sandy beach front

The good: Overall a good spot for a few families to share - great small beach along lake & grassy knoll for lounging. The not so great: Felt overpriced for the offering. Fairly sparse inside and out - surprised there were no games whatsoever. Wish we had known that we needed to bring a ball to play with or a deck of cards. Also kind of absurd to rent out a lake house and not provide beach towels whatsoever. At the end, you’re expected to do fairly extensive checkout clean while still paying cleaning fee. Overall totally fine, just wouldn’t go there again for the price.

The place was exactly as advertised. The setting was wonderful for someone with little children, the beach was just the right size the paddleboat and the kayaks were great! The owners/caretakers were responsive and the four days that we spent there we’re heavenly!

good but disappointing

The space was perfect. Water access was perfect. First time ever staying somewhere and the first thing I did was get a broom. Spiders everywhere!! The outside of the house was covered with cobwebs. Yellow jackets were around the deck space. Cobwebs and spiders in the house. For the amount of money we were charged for this VRBO I really was expecting a whole lot better! The grill was disgusting. The dumpster was full. There were stepping stones and a plank to walk across to get to the dock. I'm surprised the insurance carrier allows this. Again, for the amount of money charged, I am extremely disappointed in this property. Little attention to detail compared to the contract I signed and the details of what needs to be done at the end of your stay. Great family time but would not stay at this property again. I feel very misled and completely disappointed in the description of this property.

This home was on a beautiful lake, we rented a pontoon boat so lots of riding& tubing. Our kids played many hours on the beach, so great to have it right there. We all had a blast, highly recommend this place.

Better for younger kids

The cabin is exactly as described. It was clean the lake access was great. We loved the kayaks, the paddle boat and the fire pit. It slept 16 comfortably and it was nice to have 4 bathrooms for a group that size. Check in and check out were effortless and the property management were available and responsive! These things all matter. Here are some things I would like to share because it makes a difference depending on your group. We had 7 kids ages 8-15. • The Sandy beach was awesome and the first 6 inches of water were clear and sandy bottom on the lake. This would be perfect for toddlers and little ones. For our big kids they didn’t want to jump off the dock into the weeds and they would only go on the lake if they were using the lily pad that we brought with us. • There was one living/gathering space. It was a nice size, but it didn’t allow the teens to be somewhere other than the adults unless they were in their bedroom. The “kid” bedroom slept 6 but with a mattress on the floor for #7 there was no space for anyone to walk. I just say that as a point of reference. It was a good room for sleeping but not for hanging out in. • The kitchen has no room in cabinets to store food. The fridge and freezer were a really nice size but if you’re with a big group for more than a few days food storage was a challenge. Particularly since there were so many plates and glasses and cooking utensils. • Plan for a rain day! We had 2 of them (yikes) and luckily we

Yearly Vacation for Extended Family

This was a great place for our children, grandchildren, and us to stay. The bunk bedroom was fun for all six of the cousins to sleep and giggle. I particularly liked the shaded deck in the late afternoon. It allowed the adults to converse and still keep an eye on the children playing in the water. Remember to bring bar soap and shampoo.

Wonderful stay!

My family and I (8 adults, 2 teens) enjoyed our stay at this lovely lake house. The pedal boat and kayaks were great amenities and we all enjoyed exploring the lake. The house was very clean and the kitchen had all that we needed to prepare our meals. The location is less than an hour drive from the Twin Cities, yet the peaceful surroundings makes one feel as though one is far from the hustle and bustle of the cities....just what the family needed, indeed.

Great family time!

We had a wonderful week in this large home on the lake. The kids swam and fished, and we all had space to do all we wanted to do. The kitchen was well supplied , and the bedrooms were spacious. The beach was great, and being on the point allowed us some privacy. There was room for lawn games, and plenty of parking. We will be back!

Family vacation 2023

We needed a property for our entire family, fifteen total, and this met our expectations for the amount of space, the room arrangements and the supplies available. It was wonderful to have the four bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils, etc. The house was very clean. The bumpers on the short side of the dock were perfect for our boat and the option to tie off to the dock was a great benefit. Our grandkids and our entire family really enjoyed the beach area and spent a lot of time in the water. The deck/patio was spacious enough for all of us to be on and enjoy time together. We would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect for us

The location of the property was a wonderful surprise - you never know from photos. It was simply ideal: right on the water, yet on a pennisula with a hugh grassy area for yard games, etc. We had grandchildren with us and the water is just a couple feet deep for a good amount from the shore and they spent so much time in the water. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat provided. The house was set up perfectly for us - huge amount of living area, yet plenty of bedrooms/bathroom for everyone to have their space. Super clean. Great check in process. The town itself is charming and we enjoyed shopping, the bakery, bike riding, walking into town. We all voted this was our favorite vacation rental so far, and we have stayed in many. It was my husband and I, grown children and grandchildren. Highly recommend!
