I stayed 2 nights and both nights there was a loud generator runni which was their sprinkler system below my room going 24/7 and it was loud and vibrated my head all night. I hardly slept. Hot tub was messed up first night, they claim they fixed it 2nd night but i dont think so. Gas smell lingered around my room door and when I reported gas (rotten eggs smell) to the front desk they reassured me its "normal" and that its coming from their dryer exhaust. While it eased my sense of worry that they were aware of it and that the fire department had already been out to check on it in the past, it did not make me feel good to know i have to walk through and smell gas surrounding my room. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff i interacted with during the evening and night hours were great but the young woman who checked me out the next morning had an issue with listening to my light remarks mentioned here. She gave 10% off my booking at the counter which was nice but as a travel agent, I felt like she made excuses for my concerns instead of validating them even if she couldn't personally control the outcome. I mentioned passing the gas complaint onto the owners since it was out of her hands and and that would have been a perfect time to say "your concerns are valid and I will pass the message along to upper management" and kept a happy satisfied customer after instead of arguing with me. I cant in good conscious recommend the room choice i selected to anyone ever. Queen partial view
