'We arrived early and left our luggage to explore Reykjavik, which was no problem at all. Upon check-in, we got a room in the basement, under the bar and lobby area, which got me worried about potential noise problems. 'We liked the info we received in advance by email and app; very convenient because we arrived late; nice answers on our questions and good service and very gentil in helping and serving. Nice room and bathroom; downstairs also but the shower curtain was not easy to handle; rather old fashioned. But evrything was very oke and nice to talk to the other quests😃.'

'Hotel is very good, very well maintained, nice rooms. Two downsides:
You have to use the elevator, there are no stairs, except dor emergencies.
At night it is very loud from outside with partying people. If you sleep with open windows, you have a challenge to fall asleep. '

'After parking in the Kolaport bílahús it was a short 5 minute walk to the hotel while looking at the boats in the harbour. The hotel has a bakery right at the entrance so we had to wait for people to move aside in the queue to walk past and get to the reception. Honestly this is the only remotely negative thing there is to say.
The reception is very friendly, the interior is wonderful and it feels very safe as you need to use your keycard to access the floor.

'Loved the location, the building was very clean inside and out. Lacking basic room amenities. No TV, radio, or anything anywhere in the building. Power outlets in weird locations.
