An excellent base for touring throughout the Yorkshire Dales, with the bustling market towns of Hawes and Leyburn only 10 miles. Bolton Castle, the Black Sheep Brewery and The Wensleydale Creamery are all within easy reach. For the walker, there is easy access from the village onto open moors and fells.
