'Everything was great!'

'Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at this MCM hotel. Room was great, easy parking. Anna on the front desk was outstanding in helping us with places to see, as was her colleague at the bar. Only thing that needs improvement is communication - our flight was delayed by 24hrs and my four different attempts at contacting the hotel received no response. Looking forward to returning again soon.'

'Overall, the stay was great. Location is perfect for walking around downtown Raleigh. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. 'I had decided to splurge a bit with this hotel, and I must say the extra money wasn't worth it. The most disappointing thing: surprise charge for parking. For a two night stay, I had to pay for three day's parking, a total of $75. (This is not, btw, the valet parking price, but a garage a block away.) The breakfast was adequate -- but no better than less-expensive Courtyard by Marriott or Fairfield Inn. The tables were sticky and had not been cleaned. The room wasn't large was was nice-looking...

'The hotel is quiet and very conveniently located (20 mins walk from convention center and a stones throw from several breweries). The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and have good water pressure. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a.nice bar area and dining section that looked nice. 'When we checked in, we were given room 207. This room was on the ground floor near the lobby, and the floor to ceiling windows faced the second floor of the parking lot in the rear of the property. There were cars parked directly outside of our window. The air conditioner in the room was extremely noisy as it cycled on and off during the night making sleep all but impossible. Essentially what we wound up with was a $40 per night motel experience but we paid $250 for it. On the positive side, the...

'It's an old facility and in need of improvements. The elevator was slow and a bit spotty. The escalators were not operating part of the time. The AC in my room wasn't working as well as the AC in the hallways. The staff was polite and tried their best. Bottom line is for the rates they charge the hotel is not worth the expense.'

'There is no staff on-site. Check-in and property access is via text and a code box. The code did not work for me, even with multiple attempts and variations. Once in the room, a key fob will let you get into the building with no problem. This property is a maze of short corridors and fire doors. There are elevators, but you won't know where it will take you. I walked a looong way to find my room. The stairwells are unfinished concrete. 'Room smelled like smoke when we got inside so we burned an incense and got put out for smoke smell and it wasn’t even us we had our 1yr old with us . No towels in the room we had to ask front desk I also had to do some cleaning myself the bathroom wasn’t to my standards this hotel use to look way better about 2-3 years ago now after dark it looks like crackhead central lots of activity outside at night even the police were in the parking lot most of the night'

'The hotel was exceptionally clean and in a fantastic, convenient location. The staff was lovely as well. The only downside was the room's poor soundproofing; unfortunately, I was kept awake at night by screaming children in the neighboring room. Great stay overall, will stay again.'
