With a newly renovated game room downstairs, your family and friends will find hours of at-home entertainment in the pool table, the foosball table, and the flatscreen TV.

What’s nearby:
The charming community of Plain is four miles down the road, offering a convenient place to shop, rent Nordic ski gear, or grab a bite to eat. You'll also find the Mountain Springs Lodge there, offering a great Sunday brunch, zip lines, and horseback rides. Lake Wenatchee State Park is six miles away, where you can swim and play at the sandy beach, rent paddleboards, and explore the numerous hiking trails. The Bavarian-inspired town of Leavenworth is 18 miles south, home to year-round festivals, shopping, fine dining, and wine tasting. During the winter months, the Chiwawa Sno-Park is three miles from your front door, with cross-country skiing, snowshoe, and snowmobile trails. For downhill skiing enthusiasts, Stevens Pass Mountain Resort is 30 miles west.

Very clean, very comfortable, had everything we needed! The steps and front porch/deck were kind of uneven, could be a tripping hazard. There really was no access to the river that we could see. Nice quiet area though. Enjoyed our stay!

The two things I would like to see changed are that it be disclosed in the ad that there is no AC and that the internet doesn’t really work. After they make these adjustments to the description, this would be the perfect place. I would love to come back during the winter and enjoy this beautiful cabin.

Great place very cozy

House was pretty great overall could use improvements, we chose this property for the location to Leavenworth as a lot of people might, I think it could have used some decorations.Not sure if I missed that part in the description but the game room has an exterior entrance only made it kind of rough to get there in the icy conditions. Also had no storage spaces for guests it had dressers all over the place but all filled with extra bedding

Nice location Not clean. Mold on windows, dust on just about everything, bedding had hair on it. Smelled of cigarettes on all furniture. Carpet not vacuumed. Decor was fun it was Christmas in April, beach vibes and cabin vibes. Shades for windows were dirty. Walls had dirty spots like something got spilled and not cleaned up. Bedroom window was broken. Ceiling fan was so dusty i could have drawn-out pictures. We will not be back. We let them know when we checked in and we were informed a ticket would be created.

Amenities were lacking (especially in the kitchen), downstairs smelled very bad, wifi didn’t work until the last day with many unanswered complaints to rental company (which affected work and school), cell service is spotty. With some thoughtfulness and attention, this could be a much better spot to stay.

Could not access the second level-game room.

This place is nice, However the reason our family chose it was for the game room. My son in law is disabled from a work accident and has been in rehabilitation for years. Since he just graduated from a wheelchair to a cane we were excited to finally go on a family trip. This house was chosen since he still cannot do the outdoor activities around Leavenworth (skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, etc) we were very disappointed that we could NOT go Down the stairs or around the house to access the game room because the snow had not been shoveled for so long it was feet of ice snow that he could not navigate, both on the stairs and around the side. It is far from ADA compliant. We made the best of it but did not get to use the house as we plans paid for.

New and Old ?

The main floor was very nice (New) Except dishwasher broke and very old pans to cook with! Back deck covered in fake grass not sure if safe very old including stairs!! BBQ locked unable to use! Game Room ?? Old pool table, holes in pockets, cue sticks all missing tips found tips had to go buy glue to repair 2 of them so we could play!! Although nice furniture the room smelled like mold! No cement patio to get into game room fake grass covering lumpy dirt!! Someone used screws to repair front railing so they next morning going to head into town I had low pressure light come on in car had to go to tire place and they found screw in tire exact match to the front railing! Cost $32 for repair I have pictures and prove of tire bill 😒 Will never rent here again or recommend place!!

HOT and BUGGY

THERE IS NO A/C IN THIS HOME. It was unbearably hot and we left a day early. There were also swarms of mosquitos. On top of that, the doors were broken and screens torn so the mosquitos got into the home and we could not have the doors open for ventilation. The neighbors have bright flood lights that are on constantly and were pointed directly at the bedroom window. This would likely be an okay place to stay in the cooler months but AVOID AT ALL COSTS IN SUMMER.

Nice, but smaller than expected

Our family of 5 didn't realize that the game room was only accessible from an outdoor staircase, which made it not a great option for spreading out a bit more at night. (There is no bathroom in the game room.) We were able to squeeze in upstairs and had a good time. We couldn't figure out how to work the dishwasher or the microwave, however. Perhaps they are not working? We loved the close access to the XC ski trails!

Cozy Cabin

Our first time renting a VBRO (Dec 29, 2021)! This is a clean and comfy cabin. All the couches have been updated since this photo with a pull-out and a regular sofa both upstairs and downstairs. Also, it now has 2 queen beds(no longer the 2 twins as pictured). I truly appreciated the fresh white bath towels etc. and having all the kitchen amenities. Also, that it was pet friendly. Our Labradoodle did much better in a VBRO than a hotel setting. The only thing missing, for safety, was salt for the stairs outside going to the game room/lower level. I would also bring extra blankets and “house slippers” to leave your snow boots at the door. I would love to see this place in the summer! We hope to be back!

Great spot for a quick stay

The house was great! You can tell they have done a lot of work in the last year because it was much improved vs the listing photos. The furniture was mostly new and the kitchen has been given a solid face lift. Everyone loved the game room! Note that you do have to go outside to get down to the game room, which didn't really bother our group, but it's good to know ahead of time. Easy trip to Leavenworth and close to Lake Wenatchee.

Cabin Nice Partying Neighbors Not!

I hate to mark this cabin down as it is a very nice place. However, the big brown house next door has a hot tub right next to the bedroom window. On night one several were partying and loud until midnight. On the second night the loud noise was worse. At 1 am we went outside and asked them to be quiet to no avail. The loud party finally went inside at 2 am. We stay in the area often and love the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. This was not the case on this trip. Again lovely cabin bad neighbors.
