Quiet get away
Came here for Sturgis bike week. What a phenomenal property to stay at. It’s quiet and far away from the riffraff that Sturgis brings in. We had 2 trailers and 3 vehicles on the property not including our motorcycles. There is ample space. As for the home it’s gorgeous. They took the time to ensure that the home was stocked with TP, paper towels, trash bags, towels, and laundry detergent. However, we had some communication issues with the property management company that runs the property. We could not get a hold of anyone until the day of check-in. Once we got a hold of the new property management company they finally sent us the code to get in. They blamed their new system for this error. When we arrived at the house, we did a quick walk-through and we noticed that there was a king bed sitting on the floor. The previous guest had broken the bed frame. We paid a lot of money for this property to not be told that this was broken. We had to have our guests sleep on the floor.The property manager showed up unexpectedly at the house. When we address the broken bed frame we let her know that we had seen the broken bed frame shoved in the HVAC closet. She admitted that they put it in there. They just chose to not tell us ahead of time that it was broken.We hope that the communication will be better for whoever stays here next.
