Countryside fun and rest

After a week in the buzz of Paris we found a lot of rest in the beautiful place Rob and Debbie run on the Normandy countryside. Our kids had a lot of fun feeding the animals, pool, game room and garden. A perfect place to visit the popular spots like the mont st Michel or D-day beaches. But also to relax and find the rest, far away from stressful and bussy places.

La Ciderie: Excellent!

Rob and Debbie are wonderful hosts! Warm welcome when we arrived. Rob made a tour through the house and explained everything, and made jokes with everyone. The house is neat, well equiped, gave us immediately a warm feeling. Pictures online of the house don't lie, it's even more beautiful when you see the real thing. Kids and parents loved the pool, the feeding of the animals and the game room! Also the breakfast and dinner are very recommended. We stayed a week in "La Ciderie" and will come back for sure! There is more than enough to do in the area. Beach, beatiful coastlines, nice villages. Go and see and experience the real deal, :).

Perfect stay in a serene place

We had a lovely week in La Cidrière. The house was spotless and the kitchen well-equipped. The children enjoyed the farm animals (and feeding them), the pool, playing football in the garden and the different games which are available. We made several trips to sites within an hour drive. Very friendly hosts, would certainly recommend this accommodation to friends.

Beautiful house with a swimmingpool, animals en friendly owners.

Our children loved feeding the animals ( bottlefeed the lam) and the playroom. The owners were very friendly. The house was complete en lot of space. We loved the beach, but also a day at the house!

Fijne locatie met gastvrije ontvangst

We hebben afgelopen week een heerlijk verblijf gehad in 'Le Ciderie' En zeer fraaie locatie, zeer compleet en in alle ruimte en rust. De (engelse) eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk , behulpzaam en gastvrij. Echt een aanrader, ook of juist zeker als je met kinderen bent. Heel veel ruimte in en om het huis, speelgelegenheid, dieren, leuke dorpjes in de omgeving en redelijk centraal gelegen voor uitstapjes in de regio zoals de stranden en mont sant michel.

Wonderful holidays in Normandy

We really enjoyed our stay in Normandy thanks to Debbie and Rob! The Gite was confortable and well-equiped for our family. The garden was beautiful and safe for the kids to play. They loved feeding the animals with Rob! We warmly recommend :)

A wonderful place

A truly lovely place to stay. Beautiful property, well equipped and such comfy beds. Set in peaceful rural location with beautiful gardens and an array of animals that the children loved to help feed. Excellent, friendly hosts that went out of their way to make our holiday really excellent. Totally recommend this wonderful place.

Fun & Relaxing Time For Animal Lovers

We absolutely loved our stay at the farmhouse. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, showers worked well, etc. The true highlight was the animals. Our kids loved feeding the pig, goat, rabbit, turkey and chickens, petting the cats and watching the sheep. They also had fun playing darts, ping pong and foosball. Debbie cooked a delicious meal for us and we had many interesting conversations with Rob. We had such a peaceful, relaxing time. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer!

La maison et son jardin sont absolument charmants et les propriétaires adorables. Les animaux ont ravis nos enfants ainsi que les nombreux jeux proposés. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Debbie et Rob! Ce sont 2 hôtes très accueillants, Robert a été super avec les enfants qui ont adoré s'occuper des animaux! Un bon séjour à la campagne !

Séjour très sympathique dans ce gîte. Rob et Debbie, présents sur place, sont formidables avec les enfants, qui ont passé une très bonne semaine en compagnie des animaux qu'ils ont pu nourrir chaque jour. Petit bémol, l'annonce ne précise pas que la maison a un grand escalier pour desservir les chambres aux 1er et 2ème étage, un peu compliqué avec des enfants en bas âge. Mais nous recommandons cette location pour un séjour au calme à la campagne.

Quiet, relaxed and central ;-)

We only spent 3 nights there, but it was a great time. The Unetrkunft is very clean and has everything you need. Debbie and Bob are wonderful hosts and our children loved to feed the animals. The house is centrally located and is also suitable for excursions to Bretagne (Mont Saint Michel etc.). It is worth more than just a recommendation ;-)

Relax and enjoy nature

We brought our 10 & 15 year old grandchildren to Europe. Both grandchildren loved staying at the farmhouse. In fact they liked it so much they did not want to leave. Rob and Debbie are the perfect hosts and hostess. This one the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Our 10 year old granddaughter loved all the animals especially Oscar, the rabbit. Our grandson enjoyed playing pool and darts with his Papa. I just wished we could have spent more than 3 nights there.
