My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The property is extremely outdated, and our first room was unacceptable. When we opened the door, the entire lock assembly was lying on the floor, the door was already open, and it looked like someone had tried to break in. We were moved to another room, but the air conditioning wasn’t working there either. The only positive part of our stay was the gentleman at the front desk. He was very kind, professional, and did his best to help us. Unfortunately, my experience with another staff member, Sherrie, was the complete opposite. She left me a voicemail accusing me of children running through the hallways, even though those children were not staying in my room. She repeatedly called my room and then called my personal cell phone. When I called the front desk back to speak with her and explain that she had the wrong room, she never returned my call. I was disappointed that I was accused without anyone first verifying the facts. Overall, between the poor condition of the rooms and the way this situation was handled, I would not stay here again.

A great place to stay, near a lot of things. I would definitely recommend it.

This resort had everything you would need that was kid, friendly pool, food and history, all in one.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at this resort! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and always willing to help with anything we needed. From check-in to check-out, everyone made us feel like valued guests. Our accommodations were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The property itself was well maintained, with multiple pools and playgrounds that were spotless and provided plenty of options for both relaxation and family fun. The only downsides to our stay were being invited to what was described as a 90-minute presentation that ended up lasting about 2½ hours, and having an issue with our room door on the second day. The battery in the door lock needed to be replaced, which left us locked out of our room for about 45 minutes while it was being fixed. Despite those inconveniences, the overall experience was excellent. The beautiful property, outstanding staff, and great amenities far outweighed the negatives. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this resort to others looking for a relaxing, family friendly and enjoyable vacation.

The hotel bathrooms were old and not upgraded, which made them look unclean. There was also blood on the blanket, which was very concerning. The check-in experience was unpleasant because we had booked two rooms, but the hotel said only one room was under the confirmation number, and the confirmation numbers did not match the hotel’s system. We ended up having to call customer service and wait 30 minutes with three tired kids. The breakfast items kept running out, and there were no refills for 15–20 minutes, even after asking a couple of times. The oatmeal was empty since 9:15 and was not refilled before breakfast ended at 10:00. They also usually close the kitchen door around 9:50, which is 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled closing time.
