Mario and Blanco were fantastic hosts from helping us during our very late arrivals, to a wonderful breakfast each morning, helping us with suggestions on where to go in Old Town, making our dinner reservation & transport to the airport. 'Hotel Casa Ecuatreasures was a wondeful place to stay for our visit to Quito. It is located in a great spot to explore the old town on foot, with easy access to the basilica as well as the various plazas and many places to eat and shop. However, the true highlight is definitely the manager Hernan! He is a warm and lovely host that is full of knowledge and is eager to help you enjoy Quito. The breakfasts were also very nice, local cuisine with fresh fruit juices. Highly recommend!'

'The hotel is just one block from the main square, which makes it easy to visit and enjoy Quito's historical monuments at a leisurely pace. The hotel staff is very attentive and helped us coordinate transfers to and from the airport, as well as helping us with tours of both Quito's historic center and an excursion to one of the volcanoes. Un viejo edificio remodelado y bien adaptado para viajeros frescos y acostumbrados a conocer los rincones típicos de una ciudad con el ritmo local. Hay que subir escaleras y hay que disfrutarla vista matutina o el atardecer. Si desayunas temprano, ya estuvo, verás la niebla que baña el horizonte con su frescura sabrosa. 'Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor.'

'Fantastic stay at La Basilica Quito. Great location with good security, very friendly owners and staff. English spoken. Very clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds and bathroom with all amenities. Some of the rooms are located in-house, which makes them a bit stuffy due to lack of ventilation, but this is minor. Right in the hart of Old Quito at 5 minutes walk from historic square with cathedral, museums, presidential palace, and also the National Basilica. '
