Exactly what we were looking for, beautiful property, lots of views and sites to see down the trails, and especially the quiet being in seclusion. I will definitely be booking again.
Beutiful property close to the water falls . There is hiking just up by the bridge . Our family of 6 with a baby fit well . Off grid just like it lists no service or internet . Would recommend this place and would stay again .
Very disappointed. Should have been told there was no waterfall due to drought. It was not private and secluded as there were people camping on property and using the outdoor shower, we didnât not expect to share. The sewer situation in the camper was so smelly it was gagging. Vent in bathroom and on air conditioner, filthy. I have pictures of all the discrepancies. In all felt like a bait and switch. Have never had an issue with any other VRBO property we have stayed at.
Sure, you aren't staying in a hotel room on a lake or in an rented basement in someone's house, but the swimming hole here is incredible -- deep water with fish and crawfish, areas for lounging in the dappled shade, and a tall waterfall hiding behind a rock formation. We stayed on the property in the owner's camper and had comfortable sleep each night.
Ticonderoga is only 20 minutes away and the fort and Star Trek tours are both worth it. Mountain hikes are a longer drive, but this place can be your home base for the whole area around the Adirondacks.
We had an amazing experience! The camper was well equipped, the nature is outstanding and being off the grid was really enjoyable. The swimming hole and the fall were in a walking distance and spending the day there enjoying nature was all we could ask for a vacation. Really recommended for nature lovers!
We truly enjoyed our time unplugged. There was a lot to see, a lot of waterfalls, Fort Ticonderoga, the Star Trek experience as well. Keith and Susan were awesome hosts, and we would easily go back.
