'We stayed at six different hotels during our Philippines holiday, and Lanson Place was our fifth stop. I am so glad I upgraded to a Junior Suite here—the room was perfect, big, spacious, and featured a beautiful view of the seaside. Apart from a minor leak in the bedroom from the rain (which the duty manager handled with a complimentary fruit platter since the hotel was at full capacity) and some ground-level noise that luckily wrapped up by 10 PM, the stay was excellent. ​The absolute highlight...

'This property had an amazing view of the bay and the casinos. The room has everything you could want and more. Staff was highly professional and took care of everything including taking our bags to the room. There is a 7/11 next to the hotel and a grocery store on the second floor amongst other things. One note however is you should make sure you check the room for cockroaches before you settle in.'

'We had a very lovely stay at Astoria Plaza. We chose Astoria Plaza due to its convenient location to the Bayanihan Centre as we wanted it to be within walking distance due to Manila’s traffic. We were pleasantly surprised by the space of the 1-bedroom suite and were very pleased with the cleanliness of the suite. The air conditioning was also very much appreciated in Manila’s weather and the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, plates, etc. If we could give some feedback, it’d be to perhaps...

'The location of the accomodation is very central in Makati, directly connected to a big shopping center. Lobby and the hotel in general look nice, but the rooms or service are not nearly 5 stars worth. The room looked pretty nice, but bathroom was dated and showering in the bathtub behind a somewhat dirty curtain is not what you'd expect in a 5 star hotel that charges 5 star rates. The extra bed we had was a shame, looked like a cheap hostel bed and slept like that as well, while for the extra...
