Property is dated but staff is very attentive. This is the smallest and quietest town on the island. The affiliated taxi drivers are a little shady. Be sure to get an estimate from the concierge and confirm rate with driver before you start the trip.

Very nice hotel. Ischia is very spread out so you do need to take a lot of expensive taxis. Hotel was beautiful with a great staff. Breakfast was very nice each day.

I liked all the facilities and spacious size of bedrooms The spa was excellent and herb garden a delight. Used for drinks was very fresh and enjoyable. The therme pool was never too busy and was used by many guests. Three days of maintenance was unfortunate. Two underwater jets still did not function so pool users had to sometimes wait to enjoy the massaging treatment of the water jets. Everyone was patient:) The external pool was really enjoyable and pool lifeguards very attentive to ensure guests had sun loungers these were moved to enjoy the sun movement during the day. Always enough sun beds for all the guests staying at the hotel. Food at restaurants was excellent and my only suggestion is change this menu each few days or alternate two or three. That would be much better. Breakfast is excellent with great choice for differing preferences. Fresh juice made to guests wishes in most days.

Service was excellent, staff friendly and helpful, outside area for swimming and lounging well laid out and clean, position relating to village although secluded was close enough to walk to.

A return trip that was even better than I remember
This was our second time to return to this fabulous 5 star resort & spa. We were there in October 2017 and returned to find the same outstanding service, luxury and perfectly maintained property. A visit to the spa and Terme is a must. Look for Antonioetta she is one of the spa customers service team. She will help you put together a spa experience that is perfect for you. The morning breakfast which included and all the food and beverage service is excellent and priced very fair for a 5 Star location.

Gorgeous Hotel in Lacco Ameno!
This is my 2nd visit to the beautiful Hotel Regina Isabella in Lacco Ameno. I ADORE this hotel and cannot honestly write enough about its beauty, location, and OUTSTANDING customer service. Tony, Rafaela, and David at the front desk are amazing, and make sure that any information you may need is available to you. Their genuine concern and warmth for the customer is incredible. Guilt, who served me drinks and lunch on outdoor rock is fantastic, and she was my server last year. Sitting on their rock and jumping in the sea is heaven on earth. I hope to return every year to this gorgeous hotel! Thank you to all the outstanding staff who make me feel so welcome and at home!

Прекрасный пляж и хорошие рестораны. В принципе больше ничего и не надо. Интерьер номера старый, но это бы наверное входило в концепт аристократичного отеля, если бы были удобные матрасы и подушки. А они- очень неудобные. Две кровати соединены вместе, что, конечно, не удобно!

My happy place❣️
Regina Isabella is one of the first places I stayed in 2011 when I began a new chapter in my life. Now I live in Italy and so by a short ferry ride can arrive to the island. Each of the five small towns, connected by winding roads and healing waters, has a unique mystery and charm; however this resort is my end all be all happy place in the island. Under the shoulder of Lacco Ameno lies a private beach and pier, a saltwater pool, elegant rooms, an extensive spa and fitness area, delectable cuisine and gracious staff members that create a “family feel” in a five star resort. If you want to feel truest invigorated and refreshed go experience the embrace of Ischia at the Regina Isabella.

Magical stay at Albergo Della Regina Isabella!!!
My stay at Hotel Albergo Della Regina Isabella was absolutely magical!!!! It is truly one of the most gorgeous hotels I have ever stayed! I was warmly greeted by Pasquale who showed me to a beautiful room with a beautiful view of the sea! Words cannot truly express the beauty of this property. I spend the first afternoon at it’s gorgeous beach grotto, with Raffaele, the lifeguard, there to assist w a perfect spot to relax and soak in the sun! I looked forward to arriving to it the next day after touring the island. Jumping in the sea, and soaking in the sun at the hotel with its incredible staff was heaven on earth!!! The customer service was outstanding, and you were truly made to feel at home. I cannot say enough about Giuliano, Salvatore, Raffaele at the front desk and lifeguard, Pasquale, Teresa and the entire staff who made my stay AMAZING!!! I cannot wait to return to this gorgeous property with an amazing staff!

Beautiful hotel situated in a great location. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Room was comfortable, but WIFI did NOT work during our stay! Several floor tiles were lose, and some could be easily removed. Dangerous situation!! Breakfast was excellent with a variety of items. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Overall, very good stay, but some attention to detail may help get this hotel to a 5 star rating

Elegantes Hotel mit grandiosem Blick über das Meer
Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Albergo della Regina Isabella war sehr schön. Wir waren dort eine Woche. Das Thermalbad und der beheizte Meerwasserpool wurden von uns reichlich genutzt. Schön war es, dass wir gleich im Bademantel dort hingelangen konnten. Die Mitarbeiter*innen waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gefallen hat uns der kostenlose Transfer zum Hafen von Ischia. Die Preise auf Ischia und auch in dem Hotel sind sehr hoch. Z.B. kostete dort eine Tasse Pfefferminztee (Teebeutel) 6,50 €. Das fanden wir doch sehr erstaunlich.

Alt und schlecht isoliert
Sehr schlecht isolierte Zimmer, man hört alles sehr gut. Die Gespräche im nächsten Zimmer, die Laufgerausche von oben und die Töne vom Toilettengeschaft. Die glorreichen Zeiten dieses 5 Sterne hotels sind vorbei.
